This is the truck I have always wanted.   I've always just "accepted" what I got.  This has everything down to the color and interior.  It's like I ordered it for me.

Less than a 2020 gasser. The best deal I saw was $57K for a 2019 4x4 LTZ. Blowing them out as new 2020s in. I would take the 2019 .

100% Agree! I went back and forth on buying 1. Ended up with a new 18 1500. Have 2 Duramax already in my work trucks. But think the 2019 will be like my old 06 LBZ and hold its value very well as not a fan of the 2020 HD.

Again, congrats on a stunning truck, Mac! The color is damn gorgeous 😍

Chevy really missed the mark on the look of the new 2020 HD trucks and the GMCs are only just tolerable. Like Southbayrhino said, I think the 19s will hold their values really well simply on the much better looks. I'm still shocked at the prices of new trucks tho, holy hell! When I bought my 06 LBZ new in 06, I thought that was a lot of $$.... HA!

Mac,

I bought my new DMAX in 2018, I have a 16' box trailer fully loaded is about 5k lbs. Did I need to go Diesel, nope...but I love it.

Especially towing my trailer, doesn't even know it's back there and knowing down the road I can get a bigger trailer if I want to.

I haven't done one thing to it and it drives so nice!

I'm not leveling it out, or putting 35" tires on it either or some GHAY :hah: lift on it with tires sticking out 14" on each side.

I think the thing looks classy the way it is and when I hook up my trailer it sits perfectly level. I wouldn't change a thing and couldn't see myself driving a gas after owning 2 diesels now.

Was it expensive...yes, but when you get exactly what you want...it doesn't really matter does it?

👍

Wish I would have seen this thread sooner.

For the guys saying a gas truck can’t tow...

trailer is 9,815 dry 13,700 loaded.

6.4 Hemi with 4:10 gears.

50mph up cajon pass.

Nope, sorry.  Gas engines have to rev above 2000rpm.  Can't tow above 2000rpm, engines make noise there. :sarcasm:

It likes to be at about 2800-4000.
im looking at putting in 4:88gears to make better use of that rpm.
