Recommended Posts

Had a friend need a custom goosebox that is about 4” longer than my popup goosebox .250 plate with the bulldogs self latching hitch

Neat. Welds look good, engineering lools like it covers all the bases in my opinion but what happens when this folds up into a taco?

Just because you can doesn't always mean you should.

Don't taze me. Just asking. From one business owner to another. This product is now main stream if installed and used. Who's liable?

I would not make them to sell them  the time I have in it I would need $4000 for it

if my brother has a issue with the one I made

and comes after me I will cut his neck on our vacation to get back at him

Unfortunately all the labor was free, but it’s family

Its about twice as strong as mine made from popup  in this one about $200 in materials

I agree with you other friends asked why not sell them. To much lability

same reason years ago I told Gray Area to take there name off the power steering pulley

incase someone crashed there car and blamed the steering pulley

Anyway thought you guys would enjoy the build.

For fun we added 18 mounting holes instead of the 12 that others use.  Also the other goosebox do not have inner or outer gussets.

Mine purchased was 3/16

so we made this one out of 1/4

the bulldog we used was also the larger tube rated at 30,000lbs.

Total time was about 4 hours. Material under $300.  Was a fun project and got my hitch back from Brian. That was held for ransom

Thanks buddy,   I would never do this to sell I totally agree, if you get a flat tire and hit someone the lawyers will go after everyone,

Mark Allen sold a street bike to CarMax and later the guy killed himself on it and they tried going after Mark,  crazy world we live in

Mr Alper,

I might need you to hook up your other brother with a hitch.

Towing back from Dumont my pullrite superglide hitch let go. that was an aggressive impact.  first when the trailer slid back and slammed under acceleration then again when i went to slow down and it slid forward and rammed my truck.

I trust you a lot more than some of these chintzy items being sold currently.

Thanks you guys.

Me and @sandroosten sand brothers goosebox hitch worked amazing, the hitch was stought and had no bucking,

only real issue was the kurf was off a little on the holes so we had to clean them up on the mill this killed about a 1.5 hours beside that the Miller 251 knocked it out quick with the new miller gun.

Looks really nice, super clean.
That 251 does the job nicely also. I’ve been looking at getting another machine.

thanks for sharing. You should have a tv show.
