didnt make it... Planned to bring my Father inlaw.... Found out this weekend his wife has Cancer of the bladder... Been real sick for the last couple months.. Maybe next year we can break loose!!

Wasn’t able to make it. I’ll have to plan for next year. Looks like an amazing ceremony, and I understand and appreciate the amount effort of all involved, but I am curious about letting the flag hit the ground. I was always taught, that under no circumstance, was an American flag allowed to hit the deck, or anything below it. Not trying to stir the pot, just looking for clarification.

Talking with Dave who dropped in with the MIA POW flag  said it's "NOT" Disrespectful when they drop in with the flag and drop it to the ground. Also pointed out to please not try and catch it because it has a 50lb weight attached to it. 60' long flag looked beautiful coming in. Great job this weekend! Peace
