So my buddy decides to purchase a motorhome and travel with the wife and animals. His first trip didn't last very long. Everything GONE in less than 10 minutes! Peace

He's headed down south to try and salvage something inside the Coach. His AR's are under the bed. Hope he can save those. Peace

was he flat towing the raptor, or was he rear ended? Does he know if the fire started with the RV or the toad?

Hello W/O. I believe he was flat towing and the fire started in the Truck. Peace

Good morning, Cheffmiester! What a horrible end to what should have been an awesome journey. Hope this doesn't sour him against RV travel.

Makes you wonder if he didn't get the transfer case in neutral.

I agree with you W/O. Transfer case probably wasn't in Neutral. He's a smart guy tho so who knows. Someone is going to get sued knowing him. Peace

I would think if it was the e-brake that the rear of the truck would be burned before the front.

That actually happens a lot.  Sometimes the brake set up isn’t right and it causes a fire.  So sad that’s a bad ass coach.   I’m glad everyone is safe.

Damn! Glad everyone is ok. Wonder how long he traveled down the road before he knew it was on fire.

Yes myself included, 🤔I flat tow my JKRU and I probably go over everything 5-6 times every time I attach the Tow Bar, check check & re-check and watch the rear camera like a mofo.

Sad deal for sure and seems to be a common occurrence glad to hear there ok.

Glad they’re all OK.

Hope they get back on the road and continue. . .

The difference between an adventure and an ordeal is your attitude.
