This guy was Force Recon Marine.
He took an oath to defend the Constitution to have his civil liberties infringed upon?

The pot is boiling, can’t wait until it blows up.

In May of 1984, I took the following oath when I joined the Navy.

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

That oath does not have an expiration date and I was never told that I was no longer bound by it when I was discharged in 1994, after the cold war was supposedly over.

Now we face the enemies of our Constitution, the foremost document of our nation which spells out our form of government and lays out our inalienable rights, never to be repealed or abridged. These enemies are domestic and they fight with irrational emotion, lies, deceit, creeping liberalism, the slow erosion of our Constitutional rights, especially the 1st and 2nd Amendment. Make no mistake, the seeds of this battle were sown by Russia when they exported hundreds of socialist college professors into our colleges and universities to spread these liberal lies and ideology starting right after WWII.

We are fighting for no less than the future of our nation, the freedoms that we hold dearly and the rest of the world wants so badly that they will sneak into this country illegally to get a taste of that sweet freedom. Our weapons are the truth, facts, logic, rational thought and an unwavering defense of our Constitutional rights. The best we can do is vote and try to educate the poor deluded fools who can't see beyond their own noses and self serving interests. The worst we can do is stand by and let the libtards take our rights little by little while we do nothing.

Having said that, I wear a mask in public in the hopes that I don't catch or spread the virus. Even if the gov't had never told anyone to wear a mask in public, I would have, in an effort to save lives even if the chance was slim.  I do so because I have the freedom to do so, not because I was told to. I don't have parents or grandparents here to worry about, but I have friends who do and I don't want to be the carrier of the virus. I don't plan on wrecking my off road vehicles either, but I've been wearing a helmet long before they made it a law for SxSs.

In this case, where a local official has overstepped his authority and interfered with this mans right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, I hope this gets resolved quickly and he can get back to running his business without any more interference from petty town bureaucrats. Perhaps it will take a very nasty, expensive lawsuit to teach those petty tyrants just how wrong they are.
