Board Moderator Grease Monkey Posted June 12, 2022 Board Moderator Share Posted June 12, 2022 Good used welder. This was my back up welder. Not doing much welding anymore. Needs a new mig gun. Comes with a nice rolling cart. May have a bottle to throw into the deal. Has the spool gun capabilities as well. Located in Costa Mesa CA $1200.00 obo

Board Moderator Grease Monkey Posted January 28 Author Board Moderator Share Posted January 28 Figured Id go ahead and order a new mig gun for this. Should be here mid next week. That way we can melt some wire for a potential buyer.
Site Sponsor Kraut_n_Rice Posted January 30 Site Sponsor Share Posted January 30 We've got one of these at work. Welds good and hot. A little finicky on the thin/sheet metal stuff. But, GTG other wise. We also have a few of the newer digital 252 Millers. The old guys in the shop prefer the 250...

Friend/Client ordered 4 for his company and was shipped 5. He surprised me with it and I put in to work. I found the older 250 to be less sensitive to adjustment and easier to adjust on the fly. Could dial it in while laying out the wire on test pieces. The new 252 isn't as friendly to adjust on the fly but it works just as good. Ill probably kick myself when I sell the 250. Just running out of space.

Sausage450r
The 251 (between 250 and 252) was a complete turd. Worst welder i’ve ever used. Sold it about a week after i bought it. I like millers older stuff better
