I saw a add on ebay claiming a kit to parallel any two generators, stating one didn't need to be a companion model. Just a thought.

Ive seen that too, If I get the choice it would have the 30 amp outlet on one of them. And I believe thats the companion version.

I have 2 of them, but they need a little work. One doesn't put out 120v and the other started smoking a bit. They have both been sitting for at least a year. Make me an offer. I'm in Poway (north/east San Diego)

A little pricey but best of both worlds. lighter than the old 3000. plenty of power.

Looked heavily at all the off Honda brands. I'm still sold on the Honda gens. 

FB market place has become more of a scam than I expected.  Tried that for a pair and was told to meet way out of the advertised location. Decided to pass. 

Seems this bull chit state has me bent over a barrel if I want these. 

Might be time to get a set from the free state of AZ before it's too late.

I have a 3000 eu great generator but heavy to load and most times I don’t need all the watts. 
 

just bought an aipower 2000 watt for 340 delivered on Amazon last month. It’s your typical 2000 import as far as noise goes don’t think it’s as quiet as a Honda but neither are hf or any other import. My main use will be running it for lights and battery charging while camping out hours on a cheap priced gen vs the Honda is way I see it.
