My best guess is he is upgrading to 2.5" snouts, odds are he will be keeping the uprights.

Parker is correct. I am keeping the uprights and upgrading to a 2.5" billet spindle with a 6 piston brake setup.

I need these but rotors way to thick/heavy for my sand car

i have the pro am mid board micro stub big hubs on rear it would be nice to match.

do you know if their other rotor will work

I run the Same Rotor, the weight from a solid rotor is almost the same, and the Vented do not warp like a solid,  i run the same rotor it works awesome,

I do not know if the caliper would be compatible. I would run the venter rotor, such a better setup!
