If so, what is your opinion of them. Brand name? There seems to be a wide variety from $600-$130. I posted this question to the GD.com forum a year or so ago & got about the same answer as the first link I posted. m2c.... you get what you pay for. if you have a long bed truck & trailer >24' (or triple axle), you should get the extender. if you have an RV, you should get the extender. Key things to pay attn to: some you cant replace the batteries. some are a HUGE PITA to "pair" up. Some are better at reconnecting that others are. HTH's.
