Lately it seems there's been a lot of bellyaching about changes in appearance to the board. Hell, I'm an old fart and probably stuck in my ways, but I had no problem adapting to the board. I just click "Unread Content" at the upper right and I see all of the new posts. Pretty simple. The search function actually works great now, as opposed to a few yrs ago, so it's all been improvements as far as I can see. The bellyaching invariably leads to some speculation about board traffic. Sure, people have left the sport, some only read and rarely post, some are on FB, IG, whatever else. That's fine, we all have our different things we like or don't like about social media. The thing I'd really like to address is attitude. It's how some people are approaching things, it's how they're saying things. Rather than complaining about how few posts, try and be a positive influence and start some threads yourself. There are a large number of members I appreciate for the number and quality of the threads they start. They're too numerous to list and I don't want to leave anyone out, but you can clearly see who starts threads and a lot of them turn into really informative, thoughtful discussions. I want to thank all of those guys for starting so many interesting topics! I'd love to see more people participate, ask questions, share more info and by all means, post if you agree with someone said, you're not limited to only posting if you disagree! This brings me to the major point: how some of us have been treating Slappy. I'm not pointing fingers, because I haven't thanked Slappy enough over the yrs so I'm also guilty. Keep in mind, this is a not for profit website. It costs thousands of dollars per year to run it. Moderators don't get paid. Slappy spends thousands out of his own pocket to sponsor events like Vet's Weekend, the Golf Tourney, EPOs, upcoming concerts in the dunes - why? Because of his love for all of us. He loves duners and he loves Glamis Dunes. He wanted a campfire you could join via your computer and your phone to share stories, pics, plan upcoming trips, help each other decide what to buy, help each other fix our toys and even deliver stuff to each other for free. After 2,000 posts you're a member of the Brotherhood, but it begins long before that. Slappy has succeeded in sharing his love for all of us and the dunes via this website, so I'm asking everyone to please keep that in mind when you have a concern. Sure, you could bellyache, but how about phrasing it as a constructive comment? Let's treasure this great gift that has been bestowed upon us and nurture it, participate, be the change we want to see, feel free to post more threads, ask more questions, provide more answers, share more info. Keep on posting jokes, planning trips together and bench racing. Someone said something about some of the older threads were hilarious. There's no reason current members couldn't be even more hilarious! First you have to think of each other as brothers, show a little respect and keep it funny! In conclusion: no, nobody hacked my account. I was gently reminded by another great member just how much Slappy sacrifices to give us this great place. He never talks about it, he never complains. I just feel that we could start showing Slappy our gratitude with good deeds and good will. Pull on up to the fire and share with the rest of us!

Saw this, thought I would share: THE RETROSEXUAL MAN Ok folks, I have had it. I've taken all I can stand and I can't stand no more. Every time my TV is on, all that can be seen is effeminate men prancing about, redecorating houses and talking about foreign concepts like "style" and "feng shui." Heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, trans-sexual, metrosexual, non-sexual; blue, green, and purple-sexual-bogus definitions have taken over the urban and suburban world! Real men of the world, stand up, scratch your butt, belch, and yell "ENOUGH!" I hereby announce the start of a new offensive in the culture wars, the Retrosexual movement. The RetroSexual Code : A Retrosexual does not let neighbors screw up rooms in his house on National TV. A Retrosexual, no matter what the women insists, PAYS FOR THE DATE. A Retrosexual opens doors for a lady. Even for the ones that fit that term only because they are female. A Retrosexual DEALS with IT, be it a flat tire, break-in into your home, Or a natural disaster, you DEAL WITH IT. A Retrosexual not only eats red meat, he often kills it himself. A Retrosexual doesn't worry about living to be 90. It's not how long you live, but how well. If you're 90 years old and still smoking cigars and drinking, I salute you. A Retrosexual does not use more hair or skin products than a woman. Women have several supermarket aisles of stuff. Retrosexuals need an endcap (possibly 2 endcaps if you include shaving goods.) A Retrosexual does not dress in clothes from Hot Topic when he's 30 Years old. A Retrosexual should know how to properly kill stuff (or people) if need be. This falls under the "Dealing with IT" portion of The Code. A Retrosexual watches no TV show with "Queer" in the title. A Retrosexual should not give up excessive amounts of manliness for women. Some is inevitable, but major re-invention of yourself will only lead to you becoming a froo-froo little puss, and in the long run, she ain't worth it. A Retrosexual is allowed to seek professional help for major mental stress such as drug/alcohol addiction, death of your entire family in a freak treechipper accident, favorite sports team being moved to a different city, or favorite bird dog expiring, etc. You are NOT allowed to see a shrink because Daddy didn't pay you enough attention to you. Daddy was busy DEALING WITH IT. When you screwed up, he DEALT with you. A Retrosexual will have at least one outfit in his wardrobe designed to conceal himself from prey. A Retrosexual knows how to tie a Windsor knot when wearing a tie - and ONLY a Windsor knot. A Retrosexual should have at least one good wound he can brag about getting. A Retrosexual knows how to use a basic set of tools. If you can't hammer a nail, or drill a straight hole, practice in secret until you can - or be rightfully ridiculed for the wuss you be. A Retrosexual knows that owning a gun is not a sign that your are Riddled with fear, guns are TOOLS and are often essential to DEAL WITH IT. Plus it's just plain fun to shoot. Crying. There are very few reason that a Retrosexaul may cry, and none Of them have to do with TV commercials, movies, or soap operas. Sports teams are sometimes a reason to cry, but the preferred method of release is swearing or throwing the remote control. Some reasons a Retrosexual can cry include (but are not limited to) death of a loved one, death of a pet (fish do NOT count as pets in this case), loss of a major body part. A Retrosexual man's favorite movie isn't "Maid in Manhattan" (unless that refers to some foxy French maid sitting in a huge tub of brandy or whiskey), or "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood." Acceptable ones may include any of the Dirty Harry or Nameless Drifter movies (Clint in his better days), Rambo I or II, the Dirty Dozen, The Godfather trilogy, Scarface, The Road Warrior, The Die Hard series, Caddyshack, Rocky I, II, or III, Full Metal Jacket, any James Bond Movie, Raging Bull, Bullitt, any Bruce Lee movie, Apocalypse Now, Goodfellas, Reservoir Dogs, Fight Club, etc. When a Retrosexual is on a crowded bus and or a commuter train, and a pregnant woman, hell, any woman gets on, that retrosexual stands up and offers his seat to that woman, then looks around at the other so-called men still in their seats with a disgusted "you punks" look on his face. A Retrosexual knows how to say the Pledge properly, and with the correct emphasis and pronunciation. He also knows the words to the Star Spangled Banner. A Retrosexual will have hobbies and habits his wife and mother do not understand, but that are essential to his manliness, in that they offset the acceptable manliness decline he suffers when married/engaged in a serious healthy relationship - i.e., hunting, boxing, shot putting, shooting, cigars, car maintenance. A Retrosexual knows how to sharpen his own knives and kitchen utensils. A Retrosexual man can drive in snow (hell, a blizzard) without sliding all over or driving under 20 mph, without anxiety, and without high-centering his ride on a plow berm. A Retrosexual man can chop down a tree and make it land where he wants. Wherever it lands is where he damn well wanted it to land. A Retrosexual will give up his seat on a bus to not only any women but any elderly person or person in military dress (except officers above 2nd Lt) NOTE: The person in military dress may turn down the offer but the Retrosexual man will ALWAYS make the offer to them and thank them for serving their country. A Retrosexual man doesn't need a contract -- a handshake is good enough. He will always stand by his word even if circumstances change or the other person deceived him. A Retrosexual man doesn't immediately look to sue someone when he does something stupid and hurts himself. We understand that sometimes in the process of doing things we get hurt and we just DEAL WITH IT!

I received this from a Tibetan Munk...I heard he was very good friends with Slappy. Who is Slappy??? Slappy McDuner was raised a child of color to a lowly share-cropper in the deep south. From a very early age, he was fascinated by the motorcycle. His first love was a QA50 mini-bike that his father, Pappy McDuner, managed to buy for him. This passion only grew as he aged. He managed to graduate and was considered "gifted" by his peers. Using his new found knowledge, he soon found himself pumping gas at "Bernies Pump and Fill". This is where his keen interest developed with the modern combustible engine. After he was fired for sniffing the exhaust one too many times, he packed up and headed west. It took him aproximately 5 years to hitchhike from Toupillo Mississippi to Brawley California. Reasons as to why it took so long are sketchy, but according to sources, Slappy had the gift of gab and would talk to people for hours on end. It is even rumored that he once talked to a man for 18 hours straight about why matchheads are red in color. Yes sir, Slappy was a unique individual. But being such a unique individual caused many people to wonder about Slappy's mental stability. While on his journey, Slappy was arrested by police after they found him running through a corn field with nothing on but his birthday suit. And after what Slappy claimed to be an "alien abduction", the judge committed Slappy to the Shady Hills Mental Institution. To this day Slappy swears that he was abducted by an alien race of "Bionic Women". Slappy met his worst nightmare at the Shady Hills Mental Institution: the men in the white coats. Slappy endured 'treatments', that in his words were, "ABSOLUTELY SHASTAMCSNAPPLISH"! Slappy vowed to escape one day. That day happened when Slappy disguised himself as a mop and escaped, never to be found by the men in the white coats again. That night Slappy began walking. He was following the moonlight that starry night, and singing songs of Robert Preston and Barry Manilow. Slappy kept walking...and walking...and walking...when he stumbled onto the most glorious site he'd ever seen. The sand glistened off the moonlight creating a satin sheet of silver, and abounding with glorious, rippled sand dunes. Her name was Glamis, Mother Glamis that is. Slappy immediately fell in love with her and the plants and animals that live upon her. He has made personal friendships with many of her inhabitants; his best friend being a Red Tail Hawk he calls "Mr. Red Tail". Slappy found his calling. Slappy searched Mother Glamis for two years straight locating various parts of machine and metal. He slept for an hour a day, enduring the heat of summer, the cold of winter, and near death experiences of men and machines. After two years, he had located enough parts to piece together a machine that would not be rivaled even to this day, "THE MCSLAPPMACHINE". Slappy and the "McSlappMachine" can be found in Glamis, and at times are seen far off in the distance ripping bowls and riding ridges. His legacy of preserving the dunes, awareness of the Peirsons Milkvetch, Dune Etiquitte, and dune education are the catalysts of his cause. Slappy is married to his darling wife, Natasha McDuner. Slappy is charming and witty, and endulges in prose and poetry. Very few have ever seen Slappy, and even fewer have ridden with him. If you are one of the lucky ones who gets to ride with him, fear not and ride like the wind, because nobody dune like Slappy dune!

Great topic HondaJim Interesting that a lot of you regret NOT joining the military. Any particular reason? I did join right out of high school. I enlisted, was a jet mechanic for 9 years, got picked up for a Commission...flew helicopters for 16 years among many other things. I retired at 43 with my pension, medical and other benefits. I haven't worked in 6 years and just go to school. I'm getting ready to finish my second Masters. I mainly do it because the VA PAYS me to go to school...on top of paying for school. Kind of nice, but after 3 years of going to school (Masters, Culinary college, second Masters)...I'm really over school. It's not hard, just over it. I still have more time left to get a third Masters if I want. With all that said, I hated the Navy. I enjoyed my jobs, enjoyed mentoring young people, helping junior personnel that didn't have a voice. I hated the leadership, the constant social and political experiment that we had to go through. I hated budget cuts and having to try and keep my troop's morale up when I knew I was even lying to myself. I have a very different view of America. I see America as an ungrateful country and people. All the talk of people supporting Veterans is absolute bullshit. I constantly get my benefits cut or put on the chopping block by Congress and the President (not bashing Trump, just all Presidents). I was promised things that Congress takes away and gives to others who haven't earned it. Congress took away military pension retirement. Now all new personnel joining have to pay into a 401K type program if they want a retirement...which they can't draw on until they are 65...unlike my pension that I could have taken at 38 without penalty. I could go on and on... I'm glad I did it, I'm grateful for what I have, but it took a lot of my soul with it. Regrets? I wish I hadn't partied as much as I did. I had a lot of fun, have a lot of memories and stories but it took a toll on my body and mind. Overall, I just wish I had taken better care of myself. I also wish I had been a better man at times. I think we all have a few of those moments we wish we could rewind and do different. I also wish I had more actively pursued getting a job when I first retired from the Navy. It's been a challenge to find a job now having been out of work for 6 years. I don't have to work, but I just want more. Plus, I'm bored.

Crusty, if it was a white family, there would be no need to jump in because they don't behave like that. Dad would say something that mom thinks is stupid, dad would sleep on the couch for 2 or 3 weeks. No need for violence, she just weaponizes sex. That's why we see so many of these videos on LL or WSHH. It's a cultural thang., not a universal thing.

Nope! I would like to add, whoever the cameraperson was, they did a good job of keeping the camera still and tracking the action. I'm getting so tired of watching shitty video that's jumping all over the place and then points down at the ground right when the good part starts!

Every Battle is Won or Lost Before it is Ever Fought. from Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" There is something about an idea written down on paper. The when it is agreed upon and lives committed to serve it...Nations are BORN. God Bless the Founding Fathers of this Nation and their pursuit of a better world. The had the right idea, wrote it down as a Declaration and 243 years later the Dream is still alive! Happy 4th of July from my family to yours, go out tomorrow and celebrate this great country. Although your parents immigrated illegally they came with the intentions like many immigrants back in the day of providing a better life for themselves and their kids. I’m not sure how difficult the legal path would have been or if they snuck in or overstayed a visa my point is they did not come to suck on the tit of the US. I do think it was different 30-40 years ago people wanted to succeed. Now the illegals want to come for all the freebies and truthfully why wouldn’t they? Guys like Newsome are promising them everything for free and in return the Dems get the vote. It’s sickening to me that the government is condoning this. My grandparents and my mom all came here legally from Portugal. When my dad brought my mom over the first thing he did was put her in school to speak the language, then when she wanted to work he said of course, and my aunt helped get her a job. We’ve always been Americans first at my house and we are very proud of our Portuguese heritage. We celebrate events in our Portuguese community to keep traditions alive but we also know that the US is the greatest country on earth. I’m not sure how flag burning and the like were deemed to be free speech but I sure wish that would be revisited.

Boats being sold Surveyor found loose steering at the rudder arm. Pulled the arm and rudder this afternoon. Found the wobbled out hole. Milled hole offset with 7/8 end mill. Grabbed an old brass pump shaft. Cut it down on the lathe. Close to. 005 press fit. Little heat and the arbor press and got the shaft into the hole. Cut off the shaft and smoothed it put flush. Set up end mill again with a 1/2 bit. Cut new hole just off the edge of the original and it's good to go. Getting installed back into the boat now. Photo order all messed up but ya get the visual.

I do not have a XX, but have done a ton of research as I was planning on buying one as soon as the XX4 came out, which sounds like won’t be happening anytime soon. But here’s what I know, it’s a long one!! Best designed UTV suspension, biggest components, like chassis, suspension, big aluminum spindle uprights, Hiems, not ball joints! Big brakes, big hubs & bearings ect.. And lots of parts are interchangeable, side to side, front to back. Totally smart! Also it’s the only UTV to come with 15 inch wheels (KMC) and 30 inch tires on all 4 corners. The bed is built to carry a 32 inch spare tire, with built in chassis spare tire mount. No other UTV has a factory built in tire carrier or has room for even a 30 inch spare. The chassis is built based on 64 inch wide track width, where the Polaris is built off a 50 inch. The chassis is hands down the best designed and strongest built. Plus if you were to damage the front clip of the chassis, you can unbolt and replace the front clip. Same goes for the rear chassis clip. Regarding the engine, it’s top mounted so if you smash the chassis, you will not damage the engine mounts. It has a real alternator, no other UTV offers that. Also the air filter is the same Cat/Ump canister style we use on our buggy’s. Yes the car is heavier then all the other brands, but the chassis tubes are much bigger & thicker. The suspension is bigger tubing and .095 vs Polaris’s RZR smaller .065 wall tubing. Front 2.5 shocks come standard. Rear XX arms are stamped & boxed plate & reversible. The roll cage is better designed and built with much thicker DOM tubing! Not thin walled mild steel. If you were to build up a RZR with bigger suspension, shocks, better DOM cage, full doors, 30 inch tires on 15 inch wheels, you would be almost as heavy if not more then the XX, and still not as strong and still be 5 inches shorter in wheelbase. How much would it cost to do this too? Now before I list the issues, the good News is the XX has not had any manufacture recalls or stop ride recalls unlike the RZR’s. No fire issues either! The Issues: First was the front sway bar made a clunking noise. A replacement fix was released, so it does not seem to be an issue now. Rear axle boots were a big problem the first year. Part of the issue was due to improper suspension alignment from the factory assembly. And part of the issue was boot design. Proper alignment & second gen boot seems to be better, but still not perfect. RG just released a true axle, cv & boot replacement like what we use on our buggy’s. At a $1,000 for a complete set, it’s not cheap, (cheaper then 930 or 935 setup) but you should never have issues again. Heat through the dash seems to be a nuisance issue, as their are some big gaps in the steering column area. Some have reduced the heat by trying to seal up the gaps. The steering box was the only single shear part on the whole chassis. A few had issues, mostly when racing, and RG just released a bolt in bracket to double shear and fix that issue. Next and latest issue seems to be some are having gearbox failures. The front, rear gears & clutch are all built by Team Ind, the same company as Polaris. So not sure exactly what’s going on there??? Weddle has been rebuilding them and finding many of the issues seem to be assembly related or not shimmed properly. Heard Weddle plans on building aftermarket parts that they have seen fail. Also as said the water pump impeller has seen some issues as it gets hot and spins on the shaft. It’s a Yamaha part, not sure why we have not heard this on the YXZ? Same motor & water pump. Heard a composite impeller was in the works. A huge issue seems to be lack of manufacture support, dealer support, and stock parts availability. That’s a huge Arctic Cat/Textron problem! Then you have the lack of aftermarket support, due to the Robby Gordon strangle hold on enforcing of patents he’s on. Plus his legal letters sent out to shops who he feels are infringing on his patents. I feel he has actually hurt total vehicle sales with his monopoly of aftermarket support. I have spoke to a few aftermarket shops who have said, Why spend hundreds of hours in R&D and money to build a XX part, to only sell 5-6 for every 100 I sell of RZR & X3 parts. Polaris & Can Am patent all their designs, yet they support the aftermarket industry, not shun them away as RG has done. I can’t imagine Textron is happy knowing they bought into this deal! Overall the XX mechanical issues seem minor or are also found on other brands of UTV’s. Also because Arctic Cat uses a lot of 3rd party vendors on the XX, it seems it’s more 3rd party parts that have caused the issues and not design or manufacture built parts. And last big new issue is the lawsuit RG, is in with Textron. My understanding is RG gets a royalty for each unit sold. With the new relationship with Bass Pro & Tracker, it was said RG was eliminated from getting paid for those units. So RG is going to court to get paid for any XX’s built for Tracker. Also was told other models like the XX4, a Turbo, rock climber, & factory 72 inch models were designed by RG. Those were to be released, yet Textron has seemed to have shelved any release of those models. That’s money RG will not get from sales or aftermarket sales. Textron might not want to release them knowing the control RG seems to have on them? Or they are waiting for the terms of his contract to end, then release new models? The 2020 model XX no longer has the RG Pro suspension decal on them. Even with all this, if they released a XX4 I would be looking very close and would probably buy one. With Robby’s commitment he seems to be building or finding ways to fix the issues found on the XX.

Last year we donated $9100 and we were hoping to be able to break $10,000 this year for the Charity...Carol's Kitchen...our local food bank. Well...we did that and more! We are able to donate $13,260 to the charity and all that money goes to feed the hungry! Every $5 donated in 4 meals and we are pretty proud of that! If you want some info on the show just go over to our FB page. I'll post more later Here are some pictures from the show. These are the best of show winners.

Stumbled across this today, I'll chime in. The rear gearbox (trans) is virtually the same as the Polaris RZR, made by the same manufacture. They have some very small fine tooth gears that are made as fast as possible and cut out of the cheapest material they can use. Typical failures have been high gear and the rear final drive gear breaking teeth off. We do our "Weddle Race Prep" to these the same way we do the Polaris and Can-Am trans, debur the sharp corners off of the gears to reduce the chance of a crack starting. Shot peen the gears to reduce surface tension, further reducing the chance for a crack to start. Micro polish the gears to help with longevity and reduce friction. Replace all of the Chinese bearings with high quality SKF, Koyo, ***, etc. bearings, these have been a main failure point in the Polaris trans. Finally, we take measurements of all of the shafts and add a specific amount of preload to keep them from moving around inside the housings, this is a main cause of bearing wear and case failures. This is basically the same process that we have done for the early VW transaxles to get them to survive off-road use in the early days. The front diff in the Arctic-Cat/Textron is a whole other level of bad engineering and design, but I have been getting them to be a bit better. The main issue is to properly set the ring gear to have proper gear lash for lubrication, the entire diff carrier needs to be moved 0.060"-0.080", which is a huge amount. Once proper gear lash is adjusted, the diff carrier is moved over so far that the diff lock mechanism can no longer be used, so I have to leave the differential as an "open" diff, once you get one wheel off the ground, you will lose forward drive from the front. This is not a big deal for use in the sand as is actually makes the car drive better, it's more of an issue for rock crawling and mud/snow/ice driving. So far, we can get them to survive, but they are still not bullet proof. We will make HD gears for them someday, we are actually clearing up some design time for all of the UTV drivetrains, hopefully we'll have some HD gears for Can-Am front diff's next year.

Ha I guess I’m abnormal but 18+ years active duty and counting I’ve acquired an affinity for violence to a degree. Don’t really recognize it as non standard till I read everyone else posts. I’d of engaged that dude as soon as he started hitting the women and I knew legally there wouldn’t be repercussions. Teach the kids a good lesson on sticking up for females. A human punching bag on the safe side of metal detectors in good cause! Dream scenario. I did get my nose and jaw broke and tooth knocked out in a similar scenario when the group attacked me once when I engaged one who was attacking another, so I could see that happening but doubt I’d hold back in the moment.

I can only tell you why we love Lowrance and I highly recommend their GPS's. Currently we offer the Elite line and the HDS line of Lowrance GPS's which are all fully WATERPROOF and great in all conditions! The Elite series is the more affordable of the 2 series but not as many features, one of them being, not having as many hard keys (listed below) that makes for easier use while your moving or wearing gloves. It is also unable to have video input (see more information below) if you wanted to use a backup/forward facing camera. Elite only take one sd card at a time, compared to the 2 card slot HDS. The HDS live versions have a awesome flush flat screen that is Brightest and Clearest HD displays which can be view with polarized lenses on. Elite Hard Keys include : Pages: Access to all features of the GPS Zoom in & out Waypoint Drop Power which also controls screen brightness, overlay, etc. HDS Hardkeys Include: Pages :Access to all features of the GPS WayPoint Drop Exit Enter Cursor Movement Key Zoom In / Out Power Side Bar / Settings All of our current Lowrance GPS units have an internal antenna built in. If the GPS is mounted with a clear view of the sky, such as a UTV installation using on of our brackets, you most likely wont need an external antenna. If the GPS is buried in the dash, you will most likely need the Point One Baja Antenna. The "Baja" version of a specific GPS model means it includes that antenna, otherwise it is sold separately. The Elite 5 TI does not have external antenna capability, so make sure it will be mounted on top of a dash or using one of our handy GPS Brackets. The HDS Live has the fastest internal antenna out of all the units and is just as fast and refreshes as fast as the external antenna! If you would like to us the GPS with a backup camera, you can do so with SOME ( Gen 2 Touch, Gen 3, Carbon's and Live units ) of the HDS versions but you will need the Lowrance Video Adapter Cable. My personal recommendation for a mapping card is our PCI Western US Lowrance Map. It covers 5 western states ( California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and a small portion of Southwest Colorado and Idaho ) and gives you trails, fire roads, streams, all kinds of great stuff. I do also make sure to set exceptions so i have included a Pros & Cons picture that covers all of our mapping cards. Glamis waypoints can be downloaded for free off our website or added to any mapping card at the time of purchase. Its also very easy to add additional way points as long as you have Lat/ Long coordinates or transfer from a friends unit! There is a satellite card for Glamis, if you want additional information on that, let me know.

Over that myself. I'll say when and where I'll be. Done worrying if I'll have room for people that don't know when they will show up and or don't show up. ¹If you want to show up a week later on a Friday I hope someone is holding you a spot, I won't be. No more camp host BS for me. One of our best trips last year was just the wife and I. She has her own car and there are a lots of spots for 1 motorhome to back in between 2 groups.

Same boat. Wife and I are doing the keto thing. Last night we had fish (caught not bought) with riced cauliflower with onion, jalapeno and mushrooms mixed into it.

New law makes stealing packages from doorsteps a felony in Texas. Which being Texas probably means you can now shoot porch pirates on sight
