This is a low volume product, so not cheap to produce. In addition, @Horsepower Lifestyles worked with a couple of top-notch young photographers (one is my son 😁) and is compensating them for all of their work. I get it's not priced like a calendar at the store, but it's a niche product, so it doesn't get produced in the thousands.6 points

Here's a guy on FB selling a 40" KC light bar for $325. I've never used one, but I'm sure you can find reviews on a brand name like KC. https://www.facebook.com/commerce/listing/1645002179178473?media_id=0&ref=share_attachment1 point

Yes, they're narrower at the slide out wall, but I know plenty of guys who pull the front tires of their wide sand rail into the slide out, flip up the hinged floor plate and pull in the slide out behind the front tire and in front of the main body. They have to extend the slide out before pulling the rail out, but they make it work.1 point

Nope they are all working just fine. Not many people out here right now. So when you take a break there is not much noise.1 point

Loved playing grab ass with my quad group! My dad, his buddy, buddies son (my buddy), and I would RIP through the dunes. Positions 2-4 were always changing, but the lead dog never changed. Some fun rides right there. This spring marks 10 years since Ive been. Keep saying I need to get back there.... Heres a video from the last trip I took. Not a lot of duning, mostly pee peeing around, but its fun to look back on....1 point

It doesn’t have a lot of up travel but mine droops for days. Very similar to an XJ I used to have. The up travel is mostly limited to the axle hitting the trackbar or drag link/pitman arm. The radius arm links can also hit the frame- found that out while recovering my broken down sand car out in the dunes.1 point

WFO’s kit works really well. I’ve had it on my 06 lbs for 60k miles now. I have 10inch travel ads coilovers on mine, but cleared 37’s fine. It surprises a lot of people with how capable it is off road. It doesn’t ride as good as the ifs but it’s really close. It rides way better than it did with cranked torsion bars. WFO told me I wouldn’t need a front sway bar and I ran it without a swaybar for the first 40k miles- I’ll never do that again. Towing heavy with out the swaybar was a constant white knuckle experience. I can go on an on about how good the WFO kit is and how much I’ve enjoyed it. You won’t regret converting it over, worth every penny. These pics are from a trip to Teluride and then Moab that we did about a year and a half ago. I’ll try to post some videos.1 point
