    2d running HOT

I've just had my 2d rebuilt. some new parts, nothing major, typical freshen up. New oil. Swepco red stuff. Had it out for the first time today. After a short little session, 45 min or so I came back in and let it sit a little bit and was checking things out and noticed my transmission was still HOT. Headers had cooled off to where I could lean on them with no issue but the transmission was still hot. I mean don't put your hand on it very long hot. Not just real worm but hot. Ambient was about 50 so for it to not be very warm outside and to sill be that hot was alarming. Never noticed before how hot it ran. Anybody pay attention to 2d temps? Thanks, Ben.
  2. 2018 Eclipse Attitude 27SA toy hauler. Aluminum siding, not fiberglass. Lightly used, approximately 5 trips last year only. Onan 4000 watt generator with 10.9 hrs. Load range D tires, new spare. Upgraded to two 6 volt batteries for longer amp hours. All LED lighting, inside and out. Multiple exterior lights. Original owner. It fits my 14’ long sand car so it will likely fit side x sides. GVW 9,900, 7,240 lbs dry. Always kept under cover. Wheel bearings recently serviced. Trailer brakes on both axles. 40 gallon onboard fuel tank. Comes with tow hitch and sway control/equalizer bars. Super clean unit. No scratches in the floor or exterior. Everything works just as new. Still smells new inside. Heater and A/C work excellent. Ducted A/C in the roof. Fridge is perfect. 3 burner range and oven. Microwave. Walk around RV queen bed up front. Storage under the bed. Wired for TV but we never got one. Used by two adults only, kept super clean. This unit does not have a slide. Located in Reno, NV. Would consider meeting somebody half way. Bank owns it so I will pay the balance of the debt then send the title. It has been towed with my ¾ ton diesel dodge. Asking $26,000. I bought an enclosed trailer so switching to a motorhome. CNC Brake Help Please !!

Wheel brgs are good. Just went through the fronts and rears are the micro stub hubs. All tight. Rear rotors are brand new Pro Am stuff. I'm gonna throw the residual valve in there and see what happens. Appreciate all the comment, thanks guys.

    CNC Brake Help Please !!

Thanks guys. Mostly all hard lines. Soft lines on the A-arms to the front but they are in good shape. Otherwise all steel lines. No turn brake. The L/F appears to be very slightly bent. Not obvious at all. You have to use a straight edge to see it but it is bent very slightly. Guy here locally at Fibercraft also recommended the residual valve. I bought one but have not installed yet. I've completely isolated the front and rear by capping off each respective line, then try the bleed process again with the same result. Just odd to me the pedal goes to the floor with absolutely no resistance. You can pump by hand. Wait awhile and it comes back firm.

    CNC Brake Help Please !!

I need some brake help please. I have a 2 seat Alumicraft. Small, simple car. In the garage and on the trailer my brake pedal is good. Hard, like it should be. No air in the system. When I am out in the dunes it acts like there is air in the system. Pedal is not firm right away, got to pump three or four times before the pedal comes up, and when it does its not firm. Just like there is air in the line. Back at camp, firm pedal. Hard. No air in the line. When I am bleeding the brakes the pedal is hard like it should be, crack a bleed screw on a caliper and push the pedal to the floor letting fluid out, close the bleed screw and release the pedal. Wait about 5 or 10 seconds and go to push the pedal again and it goes to the floor. Straight to the floor, like there is nothing there at all. Wait about 2 minutes push the pedal and it's hard again. It's like the piston in the master cylinder is not staying full. I rebuilt the brake master cylinder once. Bled the crap out of it, same. Sent the master cylinder to CNC to look at, all good. They sent it back and said there was no issue. Put the master cylinder back on, bled the crap out of it, same. Bought a new master cylinder, a tall one this time, same. Rear calipers have been rebuilt, front have not but are in good shape. Brake lines are all in good shape. No turn brake. I've bled about 9 gallons of fluid through it so I am 99.5% confident there is no air in the system. Anybody try using a power bleeder? Anybody got any ideas? I've been on the phone with Corena at CNC probably twice per week for the past month. Simple system. One brake master cylinder for front and rear. It's properly sized according to CNC. Wilwood in the rear, CNC in the front. Pressure sensor for the brake lights. That's it. No leaks. Thanks for any help, Ben.

  14. I have a single lever, polished CNC cutting brake for sale. I never used it. It came on a car I had, I did a bunch of work to the car, took the cutting brake off then sold the car. It's in good shape so I am to assume it will work fine but I never used it to say for sure. The lever is smooth, i.e. the seals seem good. It's got a little mounting plate deal it comes with also. Not stuck or rough. Looking to get $50 bucks.
