I have a similar truck set up I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4 short bed and a Genesis 37crxl I did go with a slider hitch but have yet to use it and I can get my trailer damn near 90° with out the slider.  I just upgraded from a bumper pull front bath and should have done it years ago.

@Bansh88 also I did not go with air bags I went with sumo springs they work pretty good while I am loaded. But I feel my truck squats quite a bit when there is no toys in the trailer. So if you camp with out toys I would do air bags. And my tires are F rated 35” toyos and I love them.

Not with a smart meter installed.

That is why I am trying to figure out the ins-out of having an analog meter re-installed.

I Have a smart meter, solar and I am on domestic rate.  I am Socal Edison though not sure if that makes any difference.

My SCE bill was $650 in July, August should be close to or over $1k. AC always set to 78°, charge my daughter's EV at work 3-4 days a week. Haven't fired up a welder in a month.

SCE switched my buddy on to time of usage in March (all on there own),  then his bill tripled, he just got switched back to domestic rates this week.  So check your bill and see if you are on time of usage or on domestic rates. Time of usage is usually higher.

Depositing multiple times under $10k that adds up to, or over $10k, will generate the same federal documentation as a $10k deposit. I deal in a cash heavy business, ask me how I know.

So what is the deal with anything over 10 Grand?

  7. So for all of you guys that have sold cars/trucks or trailers what is the safest way to accept payment without getting ripped off.  I know cash is preferred. Then Cashiers check or?? Do you do it at the Bank? I have always bought new and kept it until it died or traded it in.  So I am new to the selling private party and don’t want to get screwed. Thanks for the help.

I was in the same boat a few years ago. Had a trip planned to Tahoe and there was a massive snow storm. Needed something to keep all the suitcases dry. I picked up one of the tri folding ones on Amazon. I think it was a couple hundred bucks. It has been awesome. It installs in a few mins. It’s water tight and has lasted 3 years so far and still going strong.

Do you know what manufacturer it is.  All the hard folding covers I have seen are a grand and up.

  9. I am looking at getting a folding tonneau cover for my 2021 Silverado. We have a road trip coming up in late July that would be nice to protect the luggage for any summer showers or have to remove fishing poles at night etc.  any recommendations on what is the better brand to go with.   (Or any GD hook ups).  I have been looking at a few different brands Ruff Country, Leer, but  BakFlip  seems to be the most popular.  Any input would be great thanks.
