  1. how meny mm is a stock piston on a 450r, reguardless great power.
  2. nice that is great power for a sb on pump gas
  3. Thanks. you do all your porting inhouse morgan? (looks like u do ;p)
  4. from my experence they r a big rip, i think something like 500 a day and its not a nice quad. way cheaper to find one for rent off site.
  5. i would just do a stockbore build. there are a handfull or so of builders that can get u into the 70s hp wise on pump gas with a stock stroke and bore. just to name a couple i like there is racers edge, high desert dyno, kenz cycle, team rocket factory. the big spec on my bike are monster duals, fuel custom intake, power commander 3, dynatek ignition, +1mm p&p head, 14:1 cp piston, high desert dyno 5050 webb cam.
  6. i could not be happier with my 700, i would recomend one to anyone who is over 190lbs over any of the 450s. imo there is no bike out there that can be made to make really good power easier than a raptor 700. and btw i had a 660 raptor for 4 months and went and got a 700 and had it for like 5 years now, that should say enough. Thats good to know, I'm a 250lb rider. i think a raptor 700 is what u need and want, exp sence u are comming off a lt500, raptor 700s are like the new better lt500. i used to ride a cr500 trike and can say my raptor would have killed it everywhere. us big guys just kill the power to wieght on a 450

  8. i also agree that the honda 450r is the best 450 out there, u can literaly make them be great at anything u want to do from fast trail ride, dune ride or a all out drag bike, racers edge has been kicking ass and taking names with their hondas at four stroke wars for awhile now. i think once u get one u will realize the lt500 wont even hold a candle to a well built honda 450.
  9. from my experence they dont need them often at all, once every 1-2 years. if its becomes really tight they will start to make alot of clicking from what i hear. and on the 700s adjusting them is as easy as it gets just need a set of feeler gauges.
  10. is the whole motor done by sparks(i assume it has head work)?
  11. imo the best two motors to get good power out of and still be pretty reliable are the raptor 700 and honda 450r. seems u just cant make that much power with them, and even ones ive seen that look like the make decent power on a dyno still arnt what i would call fast in the sand.
  12. good suspsension shitty motor.
  13. i have not herd of this happening (atleast on the forums)
  14. i have the mgc +2 a-arms with motowoz shocks and love it, never road with walsh though so cant say much on compairision (sp?). with this setup along with a nice stockbore build on my raptor 700 kills pretty much any dirtbike ive raced up olds in the whoops.
