  1. I had this happen . Mine was able to move inward toward the center of the axle a bit then I took as small file and filed each spline and it slid off. I cleaned up the splines with a file on the axle and star before I re assembled.
  2. We never ran stock suspension. But we were told when they were built stock shocks would work.
  3. JD Designs + 1" A-arms with lengthened steering rods. Made out of chromoly. Some pitting on powder coat from the sand and dirt. 325.00
  4. The paddles on these are 1 1/8". I thought these were the shorter paddles.
  5. Never used Saco rack. 200.00. Pick up in Corona.
  6. Those headers are custom very unique like stated in a earlier post. There could be a makers I.D. Badge on them.If so that may help tracking who purchased them. Man I hope they find her.
  7. Yes it's a large Allen plug. I don't know what size Allen it is but I used a bolt that the head fit in the plug put 2 nuts on it backed right out and tightened it up.
  8. Yep that is a draw through. The red boot looks like it is clamped too low on the turbo. You should make sure all the clamps are tight the avoid leaks. K&n filters don't filter that good I would at least put an outerwear over the filter.
  9. Is this a carcraft sidedraft setup. Sounds like you may have suck in some sand and clogged a jet now it's leaning out under boost.
  10. I would check all the basics plugs, plug wires, timing, fuel pressure, fuel filter. Does your distributor have points ? If so make sure your points are good.
  11. you should start pre saturating the area where your track is going to be . figure your basic layout and run some water lines for future use. then when it cools grade it. take in consideration natural water flow to help eliminate ponding during rain season.maybe even create a pond to catch water for dust control.
  12. Try The Pro Shop I believe they are in Stanton.
  13. Check with Outback Storage on Taft. I used to dump there.
  14. I've used Norco diesel repair 951 739 0610 to replace my egr cooler. It's a small shop. I was happy with the job they had good reviews. There is a guy that is on YouTube that goes by diesel tech Ron he is in hemet he has as shop and will work from his home. The guy is legit check him out on YouTube. Diesel powerhouse looks like a good shop never had work done there but bought the oil additive rev x from them goood stuff .
  15. Nice! Looks a lot closer than my old scu (which was the closet match he had seen). The guy is tripping out. Said he's been researching for years and couldn't find one that close. That's why I love GD forum! Unfortunately I think Dennis closed his business I talked to him before New Years he still had the shop but was talking about closing down. The two guys in the photo are the brothers that own sandrail fabricators they worked for SBS.
  16. Kinda looks like a sand buggy supply.
  17. The wright gear box is in corona on Sampson.
  18. If u look at the floor where the 4 studs are can you see anything that looks like cut metal in the floor.there was probably a post at one time before the room was added. You could go to the city and ask to see plans.
  19. Foundation bolts typicaly 1/2" or 5/8 studs with washers and nuts. Shot pins are used in non bearing.
  20. Are there foundation bolts. Bearing walls will have a footing with foundation bolts. Is the plate on the floor treated lumber. Should be.If the the plate is directly on the garage floor it was probably added after house was constructed. It should have a stem wall or be part of the house foundation. Below the strap should have some sort of hold down to the foundation typical. Sure looks like an add.
  21. Radiant barrier in the attic area lids and walls and adequate insulation helps a lot. Attic fans also help draw out heat from attic there are solar powered type or 110 on thermostats or timers. Whole house fans will also help from using your a/c as much. Whole house fans draw cooler air from outside circulate it through your attic keeping house and attic cooler.
  22. I've had luck with patches. Cleaned and buffed the area coated it with rubber cement and installed the patch.let the glue tak up before you install the patch.
