You should be able to find someone to respray the roof for a fairly cheap. Once that is complete have a paint correction performed on the whole car. They can turn that back into black glass. I use 3m stuff if you have the time, it's not hard just time consuming. Million videos on youtube on the steps.

Yeah if I remember right my 2 claims it was the 3rd offer that did it. I feel like they try to push and see if you will just take less. Lots of people dont have the time and need the money. Lesson here is to stick to your guns and just be patient.

Let's be honest, you posted on here knowing damn well we are going to tell you to just do it. Selling the 2d is the hard part, thats in the bag. An S4S car will sell 1000% better than any 2d car.
Also good luck finding another car with the upgraded parts for a great price. You can find all sorts of LS1 2d listings with "Fresh trans! ready to go!" though. Even cars with PBS are listed for 100k right now which blows my mind.

It happens. I lead our group and our trip before New Years the wind had blown like crazy. Zero tracks and lots of razor backs. It's amazing how some dunes blend perfectly together when they are fresh. Just like Grant I thought it was a roller and did the same thing. Dropped into a 10' witches eye and cracked my spindle. It was a cluster F@#ck behind me with everyone just trying to make evasive maneuvers. No time to say anything on the radio. Jesus take the wheel.

Ok @Grant@Funco. Spill the beans. What in the world caused your pile up? Picture looked like you guys were dicing it up.

My buddy ordered a Honda replacement off of ebay and the thing ran great. Just swapped over the needed parts, bolted up a turbo to it and away he went. I think he only paid like $400 or something stupid for it. As long as the seller you're buying from has a good rep you should be fine.

That stupid swingset jump has caused some serious injuries. One of the dirt bike guys in our group hit it wrong and cased his bike years ago. Ended up breaking his collar bone. It's a horrible jump. Some of the best jumps are over by osborn with soft landings, but then you don't have a bunch of sign and drivers to impress so I guess they are not that fun.

It's the price. You can pick those up all day long in the 15-20k range. Aftermarket stuff ALWAYS sell easier on its own. I have a friend with a 4 seater decked out with same miles and year as yours and cant move it at $24k
The toy and RV market has crashed and will only continue to get worse. If you want to sell it, strip it and list it for 500-1k less than anything close to it on FB. Just wait to see what happens to the boat market next... lol
For what it's worth im looking at 45' pushers that were 1m and are selling around $95-135k right now. Going to be ALOT of people upside down.
People dont have money when they cant sign and drive. 50% of the people I saw at camp rzr had a truck and trailer (tons of U-Hual trailers) worth less then half what they had into their sxs on the trailer. What does that tell ya.

Saw that one. Not sure I like the turbo setup. I like the instant punch to the pants of a blower. We dune, not go fast in a straight line.
Car is sweet looking though!

We usually watch the sun go down on a dune about a mile from the back side of olds. Last night we saw a sxs that was roped off just behind where we sit. I saw a post with the man being badly burnt today. I’m hoping he was life flighted out. Be careful out there guys!

I have had my Monster Cruiser since 2016. I love my car. I have seriously hit some stuff that should have in all accounts caused major damage. Joe has worked through each models issues and if there was something that broke he has a fix for it.
This comes from someone who has duned in Top $$ Funco's and SCU's.

Pictures please...
Old pictures but you can get the idea. It's a flat plate screwed to the door. round tube that works like a gate lock. And round bar that supports the weight and slides into the round tube. Mine will go out almost 10 inches, but I only go 6. Hope this helps.

Like a dumbass I went to put my car away in a hurry and clipped the door cable. Does anyone know what length of trailer door cable? Is it easy to do? I found utube videos and cables and it doesn't look that bad. Do I need to hire a professional? Appreciate the info in advance.
Before you have it fixed, get yourself some extension brackets. Someone on here posted a picture of them years ago and I took the design and made some. It lets me slide the cables out on each side 6 inches while loading and then you slide them back into place. Use them every trip.

I leased a fiat a few years ago when the dealer was giving them away for 99 bucks a month
it was fun to drive and by far the easiest car to park I have ever owned
Yeah they were only made to meet California emissions standards. They lost money on everyone they sold.
Rail Alternator

I disagree. I run a standard 2 wire 160a alternator from Napa with a stock pulley. Lifetime warranty. I have had to replace it once so far. I find its the sand that causes them to die. The 2 wire is MUCH better than the 1 wire. It senses load and adjusts up and down depending on needs. The sense wire is run all the way to the front of my car so it will compensate for voltage drop and adjust as needed.
I took the original alternator off my car and kept it as a spare and just run the napa one. If it dies, I swap it in camp with my original. Once I get home I walk into napa with my original receipt, and they hand me another new one. If you dont have Napa any of the auto parts store have lifetime warranty alternators so pick your place.
I have done an amp test on my car with everything on, fans, pumps, lights, radios, whips etc and because my car runs a lithium battery and the voltage is always around 14.6v my draw is usually only around 70-80 amps max but only at night. Its lower then that during the day.
