  1. What do you think of the F650 with the Power Stroke?
  2. You're right, just checked it out and they can.
  3. I need to put a 24' box on it, not sure if the F650/750 frames will except that.
  4. I'm looking at getting a new delivery truck. It seems like International and Hino are the 2 popular brands out there and they are coming in at almost the exact same price. Anyone have any experience with these brands? Is there another brand I should be looking at? The International has a Cummins motor with an Allison transmission. The Hino has a Hino motor with an Allison transmission. Here's the link to the trucks: https://www.diontrucks.com/default.asp?page=xNewInventoryDetail&id=6812886&p=1&s=Year&d=D&t=new&fr=xNewInventory https://www.rushtruckcenters.com/truck-sales/truck-inventory/379709-hino-268a
  5. Clean looking truck. Did it come with the wheels black or did you have that done?
  6. Encouraging! I did get the Mopar 3 year bumper to bumper ext warranty just in case.
  7. Just picked up this Ram 1500 2wd with the 5.7L, 3.93 gears. What can I expect from this truck? What's been everyone's experience with the reliability of this truck? I researched all 1/2 tons and they all seemed to get mixed reviews so I went this way based on looks and interior.

  9. The 5.7 is the only other motor I'd consider. From what I understand it's a really good proven motor with the only downside being the city MPG. Yeah, around town it drops quick. But we just took a road trip, mostly freeway but some bad traffic and some backroads too... oh and some very spirited passing. Still got 22.7. And it sounds bitchen with the exhaust setup we did. I'm super impressed with the 8 speed auto and the air suspension is super comfortable. -TJ Ended up with the Hemi. Curious what exhaust setup you put on it?

  11. I have not personally driven one but I did try to buy one with no success a year ago. I was told the earlier ones (Jeeps with the diesel) had some transmission problems but that was corrected. I spoke with three different owners who all loved theirs. One told me it accelerated like a gas motor and got him upper 20's in fuel mileage and towed his boat very well considering it was a 3.0 liter engine. He had put around 100,000 miles on his. I would buy one today if I could find it local. VM Motori has been around a long time. I used to use there engines in conversions for rollers and compactors in the 90's Back then I could buy a complete engine with a radiator, gauge panel and any SAE housing I wanted for around $3500 which was half of anyone else and they were flawless engines. I was hoping you'd reply! Thanks for the info.
  12. I'm looking at buying a 2014 Jeep GC with the 3.0L diesel made by VM Motori Cento. Does anyone have any info on the reliability of this motor?
