Born and raised in San Diego, and have been an avid motocrosser and desert off-roader since  the age of 4.  Ocotillo Wells was the first desert area I experienced riding an MR50.  I then began racing motocross at Barona, Carlsbad, Saddleback, South Bay, and Four Corners at an early age, and it was then that I learned the art of hard core competition.  There is no feeling like that of getting on the starting gate of a motocross race, it is the most intense feeling you can ever have.  Glamis opened her arms to me back in the early 80's, and I have never looked back.  I have enjoyed Glamis sunsets and rippled dunes for nearly 40 years, and each one is better than the next.  I really enjoy camping in the washes; the wildlife and quiet on the off weekend is so serene.  Plus, there is nothing better than watching and hearing the Southern Pacific Railroad Trains race by in the middle of the night.  Glamis is forever in my heart and soul, and I hope she does the same for you.
