What is the skinny on the enclosed monster Manx
Meaney77 replied to indianjoe's topic in General Chat
Interested to see any responses too... I looked around online and everything I have seen seems to be custom made at interior shops or also boat cover/bimini top shops. -

I think he quit doing shocks to focus on a new career.

Cool Trailer, did you build the work bench/shelf? If so what did you do and where did you find the material? Need to do something in my trailer and still struggling on what I want to do.

Yes, it works like a champ. It ran perfect on our last trip out to the dirt last season- both AC units, microwave, etc... If you buy one and you have a larger coach with 50 amp service you will more than likely need to make a "Edison Plug" for it. Its $5.00 in parts, its basically a male plug end and a ground wire. You plug it into the generator and it completes the circuit and charges the RV System

Yes, works like a champ after I made an "Edison Plug" for it.

Good to know! That is what I have now and they are terrible. Thanks!

How are the LED Spots that are in the recessed housing? Are they bright? I have some cheap LED's that came in my enclosed trailer when I purchased it and they aren't very bright. Was looking at other options.

Plugged the motorhome into the normal house outlet and everything worked fine. Is there a setting I need to mess with on my control panel? Coach has one of the Magnum energy control panels and there are different amp settings in there.

Picked one of these up over the weekend to throw in my enclosed and to also keep my motorhome charged up and avoid having to run the big diesel generator. Brought it home unpacked it and it fired right up- super quiet. Decided to try plugging my motorhome in to the generator and try it out and nothing worked. I used my adaptor for my Motorhome cord from 50 amp to 30amp- nothing. Then went 50,30, to 110 and still nothing. For shits and giggles I plugged in my shop vac to the gen and it worked fine. Checked all breakers on the gen and they were fine. Didnt buy the generator to run both AC's, and microwave at the same time, etc.. just want to keep batteries charged and have as a back up in my trailer. Any ideas whats going on and why it wont power up my coach? Did I get a defective unit? Anything else I should look for?

RHINO LINE OR LINE-X FLOOR AND RAMP
Meaney77 replied to sandforme's topic in Fifth Wheel Trailers/Toy Haulers/Trailers
Trailer turned out great! I looked into this and it was more than I wanted to spend so I went with 1 sheet of rubber flooring. You may also look into Raptor Linear from Amazon. Supposed to be durable like Rhino/Linex. Havent done the math to see whats more cost effective. https://www.amazon.com/s/?tag=googhydr-20&ref=pd_sl_2ej31ylq5o_e&hvadid=174303741961&hvpos=1t1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4954906911255420481&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031150&hvtargid=aud-394184471667:kwd-15073655913&keywords=raptor+liner&hyd_lpo_exg=152&index=aps&hyd_lpo_ex=31bd2bbd6d7bd52e168e9a23dca9de8ab22992be2b272b01b63cef18e7c91b0d&ie=UTF8&hyd_lpo_url=C -
Thanks for the feedback guys, Might just rethink my program and stick with a small compressor in the trailer. I thought having a tank strapped down in the trailer and ready to go would be more convenient but I am having second thoughts now.
