  1. I agree on the crossover like @Stugots has, and by the way, your old J30 is still ripping! I had @juggernaut redo mine last year with an "X" pipe and it made a noticeable difference to the low end torque compared to the 3 into 1 dual outlets. People that heard my car before say it sounds expensive now haha. Easier on the ears too being I'm still street legal.

  3. @Fireballsocal I'm a little bit of an audiophile. From what I've read and watched the new Heresy IV is awesome. They fixed them with a updated crossover if I remember correctly. If I didn't love my Klipsch KG5.5's so much (with Crites titanium tweeter upgrade) I'd own those. I'm currently using a Marantz NR1200 receiver to power them.

  5. Looking to upgrade to micro stub from my 3x3 930 vw stub axle arms. Using the stock angle inner pivot on my Baja bug. Anybody have an good used set collecting dust?
  6. Hope this helps, my intake is flipped also but I'm running a J30. I routed it under the manifold and make a quick bracket. Throttle cable I used was from CB Performance since mine is in a baja bug. https://www.cbperformance.com/product-p/3357.htm The length was perfect. The arm was a leftover I had off a weber carb.

  12. Going A-arm soon so I'm going to sell the complete front suspension off my baja bug. 6" wider beam with 10" towers, adjusters and sway-away leafs. Fox 2.0x10 smooth body shocks with reservoirs just rebuilt and valving is great. Tweeds 3" raised combo spindles, Tweeds 2-1/2" arms, CNC 2 piston disk brakes, stainless braided brake lines, almost new latest rage 5/8 heim steering rack, HD tierods with 5/8 heims, and limit straps. It's still on the car and I wont take it off until I have a buyer. Not in a rush to sell and should be ready to take it off in a week or two. I do not want to part it out. Car is in Costa Mesa.   13. How wide is the track width of 3x3 vw stub axle trailing arms compared to 3x3 micro stub? I'm having trouble finding this out... I want to go to micro stub this summer and want to go as wide as I can and still fit in the hauler.
  14. Your list looks great. Bench vice is a must with some aluminum or plastic jaws or jaw covers. For 2.0's a good pick to get the snap rings out. Any larger size shocks a good pair of internal snap ring pliers are worth their weight in gold. Kartek has good prices on rebuild kits and shims.
