  1. A lot of the jeep guys here go on dune runs into Mexico. There's a pretty popular set of dunes that you have to drive a ways into Mexico to get to. I haven't done it yet but I'm hoping to soon.
  2. I LOVE it. My extended warranty expires next month and then it's going under the knife to get deleted and tuned since I live in a smog free zone. Hello 350 or so HP and 550 or so ft/lbs of torque! As for your audio, with the price of some DSPs being what they are now... https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-dsp-408-4x8-dsp-digital-signal-processor-for-home-and-car-audio--230-500?gclid=Cj0KCQiAxs3gBRDGARIsAO4tqq2RTrFsU7vuEpLrtg8OVzjcBcb76AAeYl6v94DCFjDq770S0w1MRL4aAmrcEALw_wcB It's not even worth it to bother with component sets or new head units IMHO. Hook that up to your head unit, buy whatever mid, tweet, rear door speakers and subs you want. And have fun tuning it. As for amps the Zapco ST line are some good bang for the buck amps from a great company.
  3. Don't get me started down the wormhole of car audio lol. You looking to go active or passive? How much you looking to spend on an amp? How many speakers you plan on using? You plan on using a DSP? That guy makes awesome headlights. I might have to invest in some as I've neglected my Dodge ever since I bought my X5 Diesel and I want to get it looking good again. Nice job on the freshen up BTW.
  4. Did you buy OEM or aftermarket headlights? My '06 is in dire need of new headlights. Also, you you haven't bought the stereo stuff the Image Dynamic XS69 is a bad ass direct fit replacement for your door mids. Will blow just about anything away in the price range.
  5. I don't have one but almost bought one. They have known trans and front diff issues. Other than that, that engine is reliable as hell.
  6. Unfortunately I can't weld for shit.
  7. He may still but getting the swap done here with the 350 is cheap.
  8. My friend here has built a few Larry Minoresque Jeeps. That's my next project once my Blazer is done.
  9. Yeah it'll be getting a th350 and 8.8 rear with the 6.0. It a popular combo here. How do you guys feel about reversing the shackles up front? Worth it or no?
  10. SXS is out of the question as we'll be doing some dune/desert runs into Mexico that have to be driven to.
  11. My Dad has a YJ and wants to build it with an eye towards making it dune as well as trail capable. It's going to be heading south to get a 6.0 swap soon but I wanted to start planning the suspension. He doesn't want to go too high of a lift and doesn't want to go crazy with links/coilovers so the leafs will have to stay. My first thought was dropping an email to Deaver but I know there are a lot of jeepers here so I thought I'd ask. What do you guys recommend?
  12. Its still in pieces man. That reminds me I need to get to Pete's to get the rest of those pieces.
  13. You offer financing? Lol I want this thing so bad but I have to unload my other toys first.
  14. What are you looking to get for it without the big turbo setup?
