  1. View Advert 2011 Sandworks HD 2011 Sandworks HD Model 4 Seat Long Travel Howard Performance 383 LS stroker motor with Fast Intake Fortin Wide Gear 4 speed transmission Normally aspirated using pump gas 600 HP (480 to wheels) per Pfaff Engines (Huntington Beach) dyno Fox triple bypass shocks all 4 corners PCI car to car radio and intercom New (½ season) Ron Davis premium radiator AIM digital dash instrumentation 40” LED light bar Dual LED lights (front) New paddles and triple implements (1/2 season) 4 extra Method beadlock wheels for dirt This car is FAST, very lightweight, wide, and extremely nimble in the dunes. I go out with 2 Buckshots with fast experienced drivers and they cannot get away from me. This car is truly dialed in; with the Fortin transmission and excellent geometry along with the professionally tuned suspension it can handle whoops, bowl to bowl, sand highway, full throttle Olds runs, at any speed I care to take them. I don’t beat the car (I am an old man so I don’t jump or do stupid things), but I am sure I am the fastest 70 year old duner out there. This is a completely reliable car. In the 4 seasons I have owned it I have never had one breakdown. The Sandworks HD was made in Utah and developed quite a cult following. The owner, Rich, decided after making the best bang for the buck sand cars that it took far to long to manufacture a sand car that met with his tremendous quality standards so a few years back he decided to specialize in high quality components for high end side by sides. Sandworks is still in business in Utah. Specs from the manufacturer: 4130 .095 chromoly chassis 4130 1-1/2 chromoly HD a-arms and tie rods 7/8 HD spindles Boxed HD trailing arms 934 mid board hubs Tatum steering rack and control valve with shaft and u-joints Tatum mid board hubs with 6 piston calipers Front disc 4 piston brakes Fox triple bypass shocks front and rear Fox coil carriers with springs Race prepped 934 CVs 300m axle boots and bolt kit 4 PRP Ostrich seats with adjustable head rests with 5 point seat belts CNC pedal assembly, CNC cutting brakes (never need to use them) Advertiser teeitup Date 09/21/2019 Price $45,000.00 Category Buggies For Sale

  3. I am looking for someone who can fabricate a new dash for my buggy
  4. I have a different problem with my Rugged, intercom has a bad echo, any ideas?
  5. Last year my brand new 091 lost ring and pinon. It was a Wright tranny. Problem was the builder bought one that was not heavy duty enough for the horse power especially after I added more hp. Rick stepped up and redid it for me for just the price of the parts. Great guy great shop.
  6. What is approximate cost to convert my Douglas rears to beadlocks? Can I get the scallop style on the Douglas conversion?
  7. I need to run lower pressure in rear tires. So I need beadlocks. Where is the best place to get them, price and quality are big issues.
  8. The one in buy and sell has no chrome or polish. Also has stock suspension, arms and rear axle. Full quality after market suspension is over $1500.00 alone. Also the 440 kits come in three configurations, mine has the extra stuff, cam, headers flat racing carb, etc. Remember looks are important but there is no substitute for good ride, and high horsepower. The one on buy and sell is nice but does not have half as much invested in it.
  9. Here are 3 pictures of the 440 EX
  10. I hadn't thought of selling it before, so I will take one or two tomorrow and post them.
  11. I have a 99 400 EX totally customized and rebuilt from the ground up with a new (6hours) CT 440 kit with the higher horsepower heads, cam, and flat Keihin race carb, larger headers etc. that makes 45 HP on the dyno (stock on 400 EX is 27 HP). The trans was just rebuilt by CT Racing (1Hour). It has blue metal flake frame, chrome subframe with chrome grab handle. New white with blue shiney bodywork Polished swingarm, Polished aluminum airbox, brand new battery, chromed front bumper. Braided brake lines, fully polished motor all chromed suspension +2 +1 front chromed cromolly A-arms, +4 durablue rear axle with trick adjustment nut. PEP triple rate shocks. My bike is fully show quality and could be in a magazine. Problem is I bought a long travel buggy and now I don't ride the quad. I have over $8000.00 in upgrades besides the stock value of the bike. The bike is super fast and dependable and is no doubt the nicest looking 400 EX in Glamis. If anyone is interested email me teeitup@cox.net. I can email pictures. Its worth lots more but I will sell it for $5500
  12. Tried to phone Redline got message machine. I will try back. Do they do VW motors?
  13. I have a new (3 trips) 2332 VW T3/T4 turbo. Weber carb. It sounds pretty rich, I know it was set up that way for break in. I need a Dyno guy (prefer a chasis dyno) in Orange County if possible. Anybody know of a guy who is reliable at a fair price?
  14. Looking for 16' or longer flatbed for sandcar. PM or call 949 6360781
