  1. This is a long way from you, I'm sure. I was w/in 2-3 miles of this today. It is over-priced, https://westslope.craigslist.org/snw/d/loma-2007-honda-trx-250-ex/7720756085.html
  2. OH....and when I ride it, I don't have any trouble keeping up w/a group...although, when they hit a steep hill, I have to go around. And, that "Good Luck" meant, hope you find it, not you don't have a chance.
  3. Good luck. I have one, they are an excellent bike. Last trip, my daughter's boyfriend learned to ride on one. By the end of the trip, he was shooting the big bowls.
  4. I am a ways from you...and am interested. You aren't by chance going down to the dunes around 3.20?

    2006 trx450

There are 3 types of persons and they are all perfectly acceptable. There is us, the readers of this forum....we love the dunes, and riding....it is fun There are those that will ride, and they can be OK doing it (sorta fun). They can be excellent duners. BUT, if they didnt do it again, they wouldnt miss anything. There are those that dont like riding...it is not fun. Where does your significant other fit those? Good possibility that is the type that he is...you can't change their type, no.way, no.how. Buy a 125-250 w.an CVT that is simple and easy to ride.....Yamaha Breeze style

That thing is a beast... and not for the faint hearted or those with common sense. Be glad that he knows that he shouldn't be on that thing.
  7. Where ye be? Same as the above....I only want the rears, but the price is right
  8. Sad. Where else are you advertising? Parting out, imho, would.take you down a worse road, as in a year, or 3, you'd have a $1K worth of parts in ur way and the significant other yelling at you to get rid of it.
  9. Last Q....no ATV needed. At Great Snad Dunes in Co, which is a wilderness it is popular....but then a sheet of cardboard or snow sled works
  10. I'm looking for an ATV and stumbled onto this. I know nutN 'bout it. https://westslope.craigslist.org/snw/d/loma-1979-honda-atc-110/7693379062.html BTW, Fruita is about 20 miles from UT on I-70.
  11. The plane tickets are nothing. The tax is $41K, at only 7%. Then there is TTL Diesel to get that thing to you at 1,500 miles, and 8 mpg is $750....at $4 a gallon

    Nissan Z24 Adapter

I am looking for a NIssan/Datsun Naps Z24 to Type I VW adapter. I need the plate and the flywheel. One for an L engine would also work, I think. That would be a 4 cyl L16, L18, L20 and also an inline 6cyl from a Z, as in 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z
  13. TY....I am looking for 4 on 110mm
  14. What sort of 4 cylinder stroker? I'm sorta confused....learn me, that Honda has 300HP, and those V6s are sorta indestructible (when stock). What 4 cylinder would be better?
  15. I can't read the sidewall....21x12x? What is the bolt pattern? Where ye be?
  16. Weeeellllll, today was the 1st day off for Christmas break....I changed the sparkplugs in a car, changed the oil and ATF in another. Therefore, I was digging in my collection in the garage and I have 3 EcoTec filters, in the sealed plastic wrapper. One was hiding.
  17. FREEEE 2 EcoTec Oil (Earl) Filters, in the plastic wrapper. I have 2 of em, maybe more. AC Delco PF457GF (don't quote me, I had to walk from the garage) I gots 2 a dem. Day ain't doing me no good. We dun did sale dat car (and NO, I don't talk like dat). Shipping wouldn't be worth doing BUT, we are going to Buttercup around 12/26-1/2. That is a hop, skip and a wheelie from Gordon's. I have family in Yuma and they are gonna coerce me to go to town....as is also Mr. G's (used to walk to school, and the pool past the place). FREEEEEEE text 970.210.0388
  18. I knew that they had them on their website. I called em today....they still make them. If i remember right (I had a rough afternoon), $440, 4-6 wk wait, all orders are custom made. That motor is sorta obsolete. New stuff is normally built w/an ECO-Tec, Honda, or something w/an ECM. I happen to have one. It isn't the greatest motor, but they are durable. I was hoping to find one (maybe wishfully) w/somebody that has gone to a Honda or EcoTec, or etc. Although, the Frontier motors use the same adapter. They are at least 25 years old, mine is in an '84. It ran good when I T-boned the guy.
  19. I am looking for a Datsun/Nissan Z24 adapter and flywheel to adapt that motor to a Type I VW. It works for a Z24 and also a Frontier motor. I also think that it is the same adapter to adapt an L series 4 & 6 cylinder motor (1.6, 1.8, 2.0, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8), based on what motors are from the same Nissan/Datsun family and what transmissions will swap w/in the Datsun/Nissan family. Let me know if you have one.
  20. VW type 1 Single-port engine. The engine started life as a '66, or thereabouts, 1,500. No telling what it is not. It was in a sandrail that I bought I bought. It has not run in years. I have not messed w/it at all. It has a Zenith NDIX PO10 carb, 009 Distributor and 12V Alternator, external oil filter on it. I am not sure of the carb size, at this time. I plan to take it off soon and check the numbers. It has funky exhaust on it...possibly from a Transporter? The PO passed away. His daughter told me that it was fast (1,100# street rail/car). Engine has about 120 degrees of crank rotation. It feels like it is hitting on corroded cylinders. When turning it, it turns easy. Flywheel to power-pulley (not the clutch). I will part it out: Carb, intake, and filter $125, Flywheel $60, SP Heads $100 pair, crankshaft $75, Alternator, fan, tin & stand $125, Power-Pulley w/cover $10, 009 $30, case $70, Fuel Pump $15, Exhaust $20. Complete engine $450 I am looking for wide front and rear rims. I have Centerline rims in front, and they are only 4" wide, so they aren't wide enough. It is the 5 on 205mm bolt pattern Send me a PM and I'll send you my phone # and I'll text you some pics I am in Western CO....going to Vegas for 4/1.
  21. Why dont you put it in your car....2 gals at a time. It would be better for ur car than the gas that you buy that has ethanol mixed in it.
