  1. I appreciate all the info and yes, it's a huge blessing. There's another $50k heading her way when my wife's grandfather passes away so that should set up her education fund pretty nice. While the "hookers and blow" is tempting, I think a CD is the way I'm leaning in order to "preserve the money" as badgas suggested.
  2. My Wife's Grandma recently passed away and had a $50,000 life insurance policy in my 14 yo daughter's name to be used for college. Should I put that in a 529 policy or would it be easier just to put in a savings account? I know there a lot of smart money guys here so I'd appreciate any advice.
  3. BUmp for new price $56k
  4. 2017 Ram 2500 Laramie, 6.7L Cummins Diesel, 4x4, black leather interior, front bench seat with fold down armrest, heated & cooled front seats, power front seats, heated steering wheel, 8” touch screen with backup camera, power folding mirrors, new front brakes, 2” leveling front springs with 4 brand new Bilstein 5100 shocks all professionally installed, newer tires, new Banks rear differential cover, new Raptor style side steps, weather tech mats, set up for gooseneck trailer. $1000 service just completed which included oil filter, fuel filters, CCV filter, and transmission filter., recently professionally detailed with ceramic coating. 85,500 miles. $57,500
  5. Squatcher, you've piqued my interest. Do you mind sharing your story on this build? I could be wrong but it doesn't sound like you do this on a regular basis? I sell high end windows and door for $$$$$ custom homes in San Diego and a homeowner I sold a few years back does this for a living in Oklahoma. Either way, good luck with your project!
  6. This welder looks like a pretty good option. Price is right for sure.
  7. Thank you all for the info. I was looking at something like this: Lincoln Electric Weld Pak 140 HD Wire-Feed Welder-K2514-1 - Mig Welding Equipment - Amazon.com
  8. I've been looking a used welders because I'd like to learn how to weld so I can build my own gate for my RV parking. I've been told 2 things so far...I want a MIG welder and I want one that uses the Argon mix gas. What else do I need to know in order to get started?
  9. I have a 2017 Ram 2500 that I'm thinking about selling. 83k miles and thinking $56000. Message me if you're interested and want more details.
  10. This "mandate" is from the California Department of Public Health...what authority do they have over the general public?
  11. I'm in the window and door business and didn't recognize that door so I had to ask. Remodel is looking good!
  12. What brand is that folding door?
  13. That's what I wanted to hear! Thanks for the feedback.
  14. Maybe add matching undermount LED lights too?
  15. Putting Bilstein 5100's on my truck. They come with the black boots installed on them. You never see boots on King Shocks or Fox shocks. I can see needing them if you live somewhere with bad weather but do I need these ugly boots here in So Cal?
