So I have my trans out for repair. Northstar engine came with stage 4 -9 inch clutch package that is in good shape but the pedal pressure is very heavy. My friend gave me a 8 inch double disc set up with a stage 4 pressure plate that is also in good shape. I'm concerned about crank thrust damage...

So after my V8 swap last year I installed fortin 300m cv stars with my usual swepco 101/ bel ray mix and mid season i serviced my cv's and my stars were pitted bad. I was able to flip them and finish the season with no breakdowns. My question is has anybody used this and what were the results ? ...

My explorer.  N/A Toyota 1600. Then turbo Toyota 1600. Then supercharged 1600. Then Nissan 3.0 V6. Then A Arm conversion.  Finally Northstar V8  and bypass. I know this car inside and out.
