It's Saturday July 26th 2025.. What is everyone doing this weekend?

Took my dad and brother up to Seattle / Tacoma for the annual Good Guys Car Show...huge show and weather was perfect. My dad has a few friends up there but rarely makes the trip as he does not like to fly / get a hotel / etc - and getting to the age where he shouldn't be driving a motorhome...

It's Saturday July 19th 2025.. What is everyone doing this weekend?

Picked up a Honda Accord this afternoon for a new to me commuter car...2013 with 170k for $6k - was stoked the whole way home, and then of course -check engine light came on as I was showing my wife what a deal I just got; lol. Thanks -do you feel the same about option 1?..15 amps on that one.

Variable Speed Electric Motor / Voltage Regulator

Thoughts on which one of these has the best chance pf actually solving the problem. The second one showing a max output of 3.5a makes me a bit nervous as the motor specs I have state 6.5a at 220v. ~$300 gamble either way...

Prob about 50% or more...it's scary how fast it is now. We havent even put the horses on it yet....maybe the VFD is the better route? I only have 120v tho. Something like this?

Variable Speed Electric Motor / Voltage Regulator

lol - ya, long story but the original failed and my wife had someone "fix" it with a new rear-end...gear ratio way off now.

Variable Speed Electric Motor / Voltage Regulator

Here is the setup - time to start looking for a pully i guess...what type of puller would I use to remove it? (after removing the clip) - looks like a normal automotive pulley remover will work

Variable Speed Electric Motor / Voltage Regulator

That was what I tried - albeit a cheaper one...it was working . slowed it down, but wasn't slow smooth speed, and then tripped via its built in overload protection after a few seconds

Variable Speed Electric Motor / Voltage Regulator

ive looked at those too, but most seem to be 3 phase to single phase conversion -which I don't need?
