How is everyone mounting their radios in the new Can-Am Mav R? Say 2024 or 2025 models.

Rugged has the mount that goes under the dash on the driver's side and PCI has a mount that goes in the cup holder. For some reason Can Am did not layout the interior with the thought of people mounting radios.

Thanks Sand Shark, I've seen both of these but wasnt really impressed by either. Was hoping to find something other options. Unfortunately it looks like this is about all there is.

Just finished a build with PCI products .

Depends on how tall you are and if you plan on adding other accessories. Cup holder arm rest if you’re 6’2 plus. Left of speedometer if you don’t plan on adding a sound system or worry about your knee. Only con with the armrest option outside of a tight fit is getting it wet when washing. Magnetic covers don’t protect your radios. They give a false sense of security and hold water around the seal as you hose it away

How tight the fit is. Typically the switch pro lives below the cup holder (where the pci radio is) in this scenario I mounted the switch pro module behind the center dash cover (under the intrusion bar). I’m not big on installing items that require cage removal to access (fyi if you’re having a cage built, think accessibility/ removable intrusion bar).

we did the rugged system. poor instructions, you haveto basically remove the entire interior. wires run everywhere. the radio on your left knee must always be put in lock mode or you will wonder why no one can hear you cause you accidentally changed freq. The controls for the intercom are not intuitive. i have rugged system since 2006 in my sand car and it is really nice easy to install and intuitive to use.
