Holley ECU

Biggest no no to a LS engine is no Oil Temp, you I have had water temp at 140 and at the same time oil was 320, really should have a oil temp
for the Termx you will need a oil temp sensor kit around $200 due to the TermX does not have Thermal input, or you will need a expansion box around $400,
I dont agree with the TermX but we have installed a lot of them with no failures,

I personally run the HP, and have zero failures,

One customer of mine ran a TermX got it wet, stopped running, dried out and it ran again,
Oil cooler is on my priority list for the off season. I always had an oil temp gauge on my VW engines since that was the only fluid to worry about. Makes sense to keep it cool on the LS as well, especially with turbos.

My engine oil temp sending unit was $40 autometer unit. Programmed the TermX with the correct table and works great.
Engine runs 200. Engine oil runs 230-250. Agreed that u can’t think engine oil temps are the same as engine coolant temp.
The Term X does not have Thermal inputs, did you run the 5v with a pull up resister, if so can you send a link to how you did it, i tried a couple of time and could not get oil temp, without the expansion box

How do you do coolant and intake air temps?

That’s the sending unit.
There is a table in the input table to give it the values.

Coolant uses the sensor in the head. Intake temps uses a sensor on the blower. That is how mine is wired.
Holley harness has everything there. Just gotta plug in.
This is kinda what I figured. You pick an input name, then have to map out the data.

not to hijack your thread im running v5 any reason to update to v6 i have a hp. the terminator was no out when i went to holly 8 yrs ago and has been great except for the dash that got some glamis mist rain on it one night and bricked 25% of the display but still works
