I assume you know you will have to pay WA State sales tax since you are registering it there? I live close to the border of OR and WA. Most people around here try to find a way to register in OR given OR has no sales tax.

I think your point is valid for sure. The part I can't figure out though is SxS insurance is pretty easy to get and relatively cheap comparatively. Go figure!

State Farm is the only one I can find that will cover to the full value. Nobody else even close. Foremost will do liability and max value of $50k on comprehension. Safeco will do liability only. Everyone else has been a hard no for one reason or another. And keep in mind, I have a clean driving...
