    Lets talk Engine Builders...

I had a bada$$ LS1 built from Danzio in the past, and another LS1 built from CBM, both N/A and both ran awesome. It seems that when your stepping into the high dollar TT motors Redline is the go to. If I was spending that much on a motor, I would want the builder that is out in Glamis...

    My 2006 Wuerth Motorsports Build

Correct, but the knuckle looks to be set up for heim and misalignment spacers on the bottom. The arm is uniball.

    My 2006 Wuerth Motorsports Build

Are the Tatum knuckles set up for a Uniball lower or you changing that to a heim with misalignment spacers?

That was a terrible reality I faced after having everything powder-coated... It is tedious and time-consuming.

    Shocks... Cerakote Vs. Powdercoat

When I tore my shocks down I used a MAP gas torch to burn off any residual acetone or oils after the sand blasting. As stated above, I used the non bake 5 day cure Cerakote. It sucks because it takes 5 days but its well worth it. From what I see, the Steel-It does look comparable and seems...

    Shocks... Cerakote Vs. Powdercoat

For the original 2.5's, I tore the shocks down, sand blasted them, cleaned them, cooked them, then Cerakoted them in matte black. The process is lengthy but worth it. The Cerakote only lasts a few seasons before youll get lightened thin spots. For Springs I would powder them.

Coming out awesome! I wish I would have depinned my engine harness and used the techflex sleeve and heatshrink like you did. I just used the split loom and TessaTape on mine. I may end up redoing it this summer like yours. It just looks too clean.

I wired my ignition, fuel pump and fans off the MSD solid state relay. It has provisions for both + and - input triggers for all four outputs. Fans on the LS are - trigger, fuel pump is a + trigger. Made it super easy to wire up.

You definitely had a longer-traveled road than me. Funny though, Grant told me the same thing (and I didnt listen either) when I was buying stuff, he even talked to me about the cost of a base new Gen6 and how I would almost be right there in dollars spent... Hindsight is always 20/20...

Having just completed my rebuild... I know exactly what most are saying about the price of goods and services. I considered selling my Gen4 and finding the right Gen6, but I couldn't come to terms with the price tag... well here I am a year later, and very close to what a used Gen6 would go for...

Thank you! I was looking at cars and I only purchased this one because it had a Fortin in it. Everything else I was looking at had the 2D.

    Gen 4 Update

What partially prompted the remodel was an electrical gremlin I had been chasing for 2 seasons. Sometimes the starter would drag, and sometimes it would just click. Batteries wouldn't hold a charge and so on. I thought it was the starter, so I replaced it, I thought it was an alternator, so I...
