This may be a long shot, but did you fill up with a different diesel fuel? On my '13 and '17 6.7's I would get that tapping noise when I filled with straight diesel. Bio has lubricity in it and it quiets the injector tapping noise, at least in my case. But it was never loud, just noticeable.

Problem is ER's and Urgent Care Clinics are required to treat every person that shows up. We end up paying for non residents and lazy fuckers health care either way.
