So the 15 psi oil pressure sender switch has a 16 gauge wire which energizes that 200 amp solenoid. That allows the house batteries to be tied into the alternator charge circuit. Is it as easy as disconnecting that blue wire?

Well this appears to be it. I just have to figure out how to rewire it to disable it.

So is that crimp on the Staubli connector special? I am seeing the pliers online no problem but I have all kinds of pliers in the toolbox with that type of crimp connector. Or at least looks similar. Photo shown as an example of Deutsch style connectors we have used for years in the shop.

Interesting thread here discussing dc to dc converters. It is mentioned that motorhomes have a split charge relay which allows the alternator to charge the starting battery first and then the house batteries. If so and without a dc to dc converter that creates a problem. Sounds possibly as easy...

So I had already bought one each of a positive and negative heavy duty busbars. $38 for both from Sun Fun kits. Trying to wrap my head around why I would need the Lynx Distributor and spend another $200. It does the same thing except it has fuses and monitors them. I already have a 400 amp fuse...

So those two wires in my last two posts are in addition to the 4/0 big positive wire which goes to the current inverter.

The second one is this wire going to a circuit breaker. My question is to hook power to the coach all back up am I going to wire both of these into the hundred amp circuits on the linx distribution box? This wire is slightly smaller so I'm guessing it is a 1/0.

So right now I have two big positive wires coming off of the 2 8d house batteries. This first one is a 2/0 size wire and I'm pretty sure it runs up to these two solenoids or relays which are powered with a jumper. Not sure what these wires do to the coach.

This is the two gauge we have on the cart. Certainly not as fine as welding wire would be.

We still have our wire cart from closing the business. I might be able to steal a little something something from here and then buy the rest as needed.

Also for now I decided NOT to run a DC to DC converter and charge the new batteries from the alternator. It will only charge the starting battery. Coach batteries will be charged with solar, gennie, shore power.

Where the inverter, cerbo, and charge controller mount under the bed will be vented with large grates on both ends. Thinking I may still want a temp controlled fan in that area as well. Assuming I need to run a 120 outlet into that area to plug in? Not sure what fan to buy. Quiet would be good...
