So we drove this coach back after buying it almost 900 miles. After reading online it sounded to me like 225 was the max temp that a lot of people don't like to go over. Right in the middle of summer and temperatures above 100 on some of the hills I was getting it up to 220. Of course gearing...
Cleaned the carb and it runs perfect. That carb is beyond simple. The propane goes in where you would normally have a jet on a gas carb. Which this looks like a modified gasoline carburetor. Then there is a butterfly. That is it. amazing. I have no idea where a piece of dirt could have been...
Then from there the propane goes through a rubber hose into the carb. If I had to guess I would say the carb is not the issue but not sure what to look at or check here.
So my generator has not been working for a good year or so and I had not done anything with it until now. Getting ready to sell the coach. The generator is a generac np-66g. I replaced the regulator at the propane tank and I have verified I have propane getting to what looks like a couple of...
Never installed the system so now I am going to put it on the coach we just bought. Need to start figuring out what all I need and what needs changed. Coach has lithium batteries now and we will be putting in a residential fridge. Might need more panels and a different controller. I assume a...
Made it back home this morning. Only mishap was a front hubcap that fell off and Jake at Les Schwab is looking into it! Thank you for your hospitality! We had a great time.
In this video at 19:39 they show how all of the floors walls and ceiling are built from country Coach back in the day. Just driving it back the last couple days I can feel how solid this piece of equipment is. Super nice..
2003 country Coach intrigue. 8.9 Cummins ISL with 400 HP and 1200 ft lb. So far on my way back put about 730 mi on it up and down the hills in Idaho and Utah. Pretty neat drivetrain compared to my 3126 cat. 100 more horsepower and 320 more pound feet of torque. Cruises right along at 65 to 70...
So do you leave yours on or shut it off. According to this gal at about 14:20 of the video it is actually illegal in certain cases. I have always had mine on with a propane fridge. I'm not sure my ice cream would make it from Phoenix to glamis shut off for 4 hours. LOL.
Do you have some interior pictures. What is the tow rating for this coach? I'm still sort of leaning towards a dually and a weekend warrior le3505 or le3305. But flat towing a 5000 lb truck behind a motorhome is still an option for us.
