Final bit of repairs/maintenance on the TH and truck. Then loading up to hit the road for a 3 week road trip that will include at least 10 days in Glamis... ready to get out of this cold...

We make it to  the atc track near the canal every trip. It's a hoot. Kids love it. 

My Commando was tight. And heavy. If it didn't fit height wise i was going to try to compress the axels with ratchet straps.

Prepping for our Spring Break Glamis trip next month. Cleaning carbs, rejetting, cleaning fuel tanks and just general maintenance and a once over on the twins new Raptor 250s.  Finding all kinds off piss poor mechanicing has been done to these things. Up to $80 in wrong or missing hardware...

Bit chilly here in Colorado last night. 8500' . It's warmed up to a balmy 13 as of 11a.m.

Working on  parts list for the twins new machines. Might try and do some clutch lessons tomorrow in the driveway. We are all still recovering from the damn Vid.  The fatigue issue is kicking my ass.

I live at over 8500'. Lots of snow play. Usually. This years been the driest in my 30 years living here.

I found a cracked exhaust manifold on the old 5.7 work van about a month ago. Being lazy I figured I would give this stuff a shot. Did a little grind and clean and went for it. It's lasted about 3000 miles.

Found a 2011 250r Se for my son.  It's in pretty good shape but it oil smokes  when cold.  I'm a 2 stroke guy but im thinking it's the valve guides. Maybe rings? Where do I go from here? Compression test? Tear the head off and just do valve seals? Which seals are best? Do I replace the timing...

Craigslister didn't flake. Needs a little love but my son will love this thing. Got my lights and tree up.

Hit some serious wind right around Salton city back in mid October.  Look out my mirror to see this. Went through the trailer and started pulling floor trim screws. Got her screwed back on and it held for the 1200 mile trip home.
