New ride for the dune season - Kawi H2

Yes he blew a belt and part of it knocked a hole in the cover and that’s what you see sticking out. Kawi needs to make a stronger cover so when a belt does let go you don’t destroy the cover. Because belts will fail time to time. I have watched a video and getting the cover off is a bit of a...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

So Nick @ Chupacabra is doing a two day, 400 mile desert ride in the H2. Today is day 1 and he seems very impressed with the overall performance of the H2. He said in the full power mode he’s is getting about 10 mpg. I was told by a Kawi rep that he prefers the 80% power mode in open desert and...

New ride for the dune season - Kawi H2

Makes sense. But for me I only drink when I stop, as I’m not drinking with a full faced helmet on. And at least in my RZR the center cup holders mine as well be heated cup holders as everything in them gets warm. I store my drinks in the cooler. The Kawi 4 seat comes with 8 drink holders.

New ride for the dune season - Kawi H2

I know some nice molded door bags are in the works for the H2. That should greatly help with storage.

New ride for the dune season - Kawi H2

I too reached out to him a month or so ago asking if he would be building stuff for the H2, and he said the same thing. He’d need someone to bring a car to scan and test fit. He asked me what I’d want to have. I said a spot for the radio, intercom and switch panel. And I’d be fine with losing...

New ride for the dune season - Kawi H2

Congratulations on the new H2. Look forward to seeing what you do with it and hearing your opinion after getting some seat time.

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

I’ll like to see when RPM & EVO and others build an exhaust for the H2 to see what HP numbers they get. That will corroborate or question the Gibson numbers shown, as the others should see similar gains. Both RPM & EVO have said with an exhaust, clutch adjustment and ECU tune this car should be...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

My neighbor bought the H2 and dropped it off at Gibson Exhaust so they could design a header & muffler system. The stock hp numbers are pretty impressive on the hub dyno. 227hp stock. But the stock header collector is very restrictive. So look what Gibson found!

Not allot of 16 inch tire options, but Rocky Mountain ATV is building the Tusk Tarrabite tire in a 16x35. The Tarrabite’s been around for a long time with good results. $260 ea, with free shipping and in stock. Here is a H2 with the 35 inch Tarrabite on stock wheels. The guy is getting ready...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

I think Nick was trying to get some feedback out before his big 400 mile trip with the H2. He said he only had 100 miles on it. I’m sure his thoughts or depth into how it feels & performs will be better.

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

Mav R has not been a contender. The 4 seater is too long. Thats also why the Pro R is not really a contender. I like the Speed for many reasons, but the 120wb was one of them. The Pro S is 125 and the Kawi is 126. I’d still consider a Speed if a few things were fixed on the Speed. If the...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

I don’t know what I’ll get or when? If I do go H2, I’ll wait until after the new year when the new Gray color is released. I’m still hoping to see a fix to shut up some of the SC flutter and chirping noises. Some say it’s not fixable, but I know theirs a company back east that does a SC silence...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

Something I meant to share & post. If you go to Kawasaki.com you can see diagrams and part numbers of all the parts of the H2. They don’t list pricing, but I’m sure sites like Partzilla will have the OEM parts & pricing section for the H2 by the end of the year I’d guess? But here is the link...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

Thanks for the possible answer. I hope Super ATV will be building axles for the H2, so the expensive OEM is not the only option for axles. And I really hope Kawi did not do two different lengths, making them position specific. That would be just stupid! I’d assume since every other brand does...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

I have not seen that one yet. That’s by far the best set up and what I was thinking wouid want to do by putting the intercom down below. Thanks for sharing. Had no idea switch pros was building mounts. I know Stayflush is working on Something too!

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

I like Rugged’s too, except for the fact someone like me who already has a radio & intercom, now has to go by another stupid and expensive intercom, so it can get mounted behind the dash and run off the switch! This is what happens when you think your new car is coming two years ago! 😆

PCI’s mounting solution for a radio, intercom and still keeping some switches. They had to lift the Garmin about 2 inches from what it looks like. Side view to see the raised Garmin. Pictures from Chupacabra.

Alumicraft.. what’s the story and the kinds?

I’m sure you will see Alumicraft in a Podium as Brian work their under John Cooley for along time. Just like early on, there was allot of Jimco in Alumicrafts, as John worked for Jimco for many, many years before starting Alumicraft, which was originally a company to build all the bodies and...
