    2026 Polaris RZR Pro R

My guess on Polaris holding back the 2026 Pro R announcement, is maybe they wanted to see what Kawasaki and Can Am were announcing, and that would determine if they release whatever they have coming, or hold it back another year? I don’t think whatever they announce this year will be a big...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

That’s what I said, I don’t think any cars have a special break in tune built into them. But they do say to drive easy for the first x amount of miles or hours, and you should change your oils within a few hundred miles.

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

I think the break in is legit. I don’t think the cars de-tune themselves until a certain milage or hour, and then go full tune. But any new engine or transmission needs to break in and seat the metal. That’s why it’s always a good idea to change the oil in the first couple hundred miles to get...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

From what I’ve seen oil changes, air filter changes look to be straight forward, and access to all is on the right side of the engine. Only bummer is the oil filter lays on its side, so it should be easy to drain once you remove the skid plate, but you can’t prime the new filter, which is...

    New Polaris Pro R

Thanks, I’ll share this with them. Maybe this is a better idea?

    New Polaris Pro R

The heat is from the front of the car & firewall. RPM makes a heat shield that gets mounted between the radiator and firewall. I think on the 2025 Pro R Polaris add their own version of this same heat shield.

    New Polaris Pro R

We have two Pro S in our group and both complain about the heat in the cab, especially at slow speeds or when stopped & idling. One guy is going to buy the new RPM heat shield at the Sand Show in a few weeks as they are told that makes a big improvement.

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

What is considered to fast? One of the guys in our group has a first year KRX on 32’s and I’m guessing he’s got 1500 plus miles on it and he has had zero clutch issues. Is it the rock crawling guys that run slow and under a load all the time, or the guys trying to run wide open to keep up with...

I saw this too. I read in another article that the H2 engine tune defaults to Normal mode 80% power. I don’t know if that means each time you start the car it’s in normal mode? It did say you can switch on the fly. So was this guy in normal 80% power mode or did he know to toggle it to full...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

Another video posted by UTV Stereo. This one shows a few more things. Looks like there is storage under the drivers seat and the whole right side under the rear seat is for storage. Or for a Aux fuel tank!! Btw three adults in the back looks miserable! Not sure anyone would actually put three...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

That’s cool. It’s literally a Garmin Tread and not some cheaper production unit just made for the Kawi with the Garmin name on it. Unfortunately that happens allot where they license a brand name but that brand does not actually make the product or it’s a cheaper version vs the real part. Plus...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

Just read article on UTV Off Road Magazine about the Kawasaki H2. They share some details I had not read or known. I suggest reading the whole article, but here are some excerpts and my comments from it. “Even in the 110-degree heat of our 60 mile test loop, the engine ran at optimal...

My guess it does. I think all or most UTV’s have all braided lines for the brakes. I know Polaris does all braided brake lines. I’m pretty sure the Can Am X3 and Mav does. I know the Speed does. So while I don’t think it’s the best design, they all do it, and I’m sure it’s for simplicity, less...

Nikals Final Thoughts. Overall I’m very impressed with the H2, but until these cars are in owners hands being used in the wild, we won’t really know how well they perform and are they reliable? The Speed on paper is a 100%, but in reality they are at 75%. What percentage will the H2 be? I think...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

Part 3. The engine, trans and CVT look good and easy to do general maintenance on. The oil fill has a nice sight glass to see the oil level. Sorry I thought I got a picture of the oil filter. It looks easy to get to. Only thing I don’t like is it lays on its side. No way to prime it, but with...
