Yeah. With audio you're trying to avoid ANY voltage drop whenever possible since that screws with sound quality. With an electric motor, voltage drop is the name of the game, it just gets hotter for a split second. Either way, I wouldn't put an 80A fuse on 6AWG connections and terminals...

60A should be good as well. Either way: smart move. Wire as a fuse sucks. :ROFLMAO:
