I've read good things on that CT motor package. The 2011 Raptor 250SE has the reservoir shocks. Good shock out the door but also build able. That's the year and model I would look for. Yamaha also made a Raptor 125. Same years. I believe they are the same size as a 250 but small motor.

Raptor 350 is the new model warrior. Manual clutch Raptor 250 is a also manual clutch. Has a throttle limiter. Honda 250 won't have much for aftermarket support. Plus they are not sporty. My kids hopped up lt80s could out run a Honda 250.

Miss those lt80 days. Can't remember the size on my daughters machine. But stay away from the ribbed sand tire. It was a little twitchy for her.

Twins ride Raptor 250s. Moved up to them from lt80s 3 years ago.They are 14 now and moving up to Suzuki 400s this year. The Raptors are fun. Sporty little machines. No reverse. But super light and easy to move around. More of a motocross type bike than the Honda 250s. Tons of aftermarket...
