    LS adaptor plate install

Yep, that gap is normal. Make a piece to cover it or CBM sells a part that will cover that. Pilot bearing should bottom.

    Sway bar Question

IMO, every car will benefit from one. Funco is known for sliding and staying flat in turns, and they have sway bars as you stated. Doesn't that tell you something?

    Clutch pedal stop adjustment

Engine off, put it in gear, push the clutch in, have someone try and roll the car. Adjust the stop to where the car will just start to roll while in gear. Slave I do 3/8" free play.

    S5D vs Fortin FRS5

For a new build and minor cost increase, I would say yes. In my case, a retro fit, I would have had to REALLY cut my car up to get it to fit. So I went with the S4. But fair question/point.

    How to tighten trans nut?

Also get a different nut. The kind with the washer built in. Then the head is smaller.

    Which Throw out bearing?????

Should be able to use either of the Albins TO bearings. Depends on which clutch you are using if you need flat faced or convex. I would think the flat face if you are using a Kennedy Clutch. PN WDLSC00170A Call McMullen and verify.

    S5D vs Fortin FRS5

S4D is only bigger in R&P and bell housing section. Both S4D and S4 use same gear stack, case, front mount etc. But I agree, can mess with CV angle etc.

    Sway bar Question

Any sway bar is worth the addition. Best thing that I ever added to my car. My car felt like I was a boat on water turning. After sway bar addition, I am completely flat in a turn. Such a cool feeling.

    Sway bar Question

That is what happened to me 1 year ago. New company took my phone order, 9 months, later still nothing. Kartek had 2 more bars that were "close enough", 41.5" long vs 39" long, so I just made spacers and it worked fine all last season. Now I have 2 more bars in case I snap another one. Should...

    Sway bar Question

Let us know if you can get ahold of them. They sold, then someone bought them, moved the equipment and supposedly they are up and running. Kartek on their site says "not sure when more will be available".

    S5D vs Fortin FRS5

My 4 speed wide gear didn't hold up to more power once I went to a blower. When I had a stock LS1, I was going 5 years between rebuilds. Once I added more power, I was taking it out every season, at least once. :) Pinion head bearing is smallest out of all of the transaxles. I went through 2...

    Sway bar Question

From my experience, and a few buddies. Hollow bar. Buddy with a Sand Limo had a solid bar was tearing stuff up, until he went to a hollow bar. Has not had issues sense. Solid doesn't flex as much and transfers a ton of load into the chassis. Lots of stress is transferred to the chassis, not so...

    ww tongue weight?

I had a 2004 FS3000 with no slides. I weighed my tongue weight in multiple configurations using a Sherline tongue weight scale. All weights included 2 6V batteries on the tongue, full propane and 30 gallons of gas in the fuel tank. 1. No water, no toys: 1275lbs. 2. Full water, no toys...
