The newer generation has a dimmer feature as well as color temp adjustment which would be nice. I have the first gen that is only either on or off... they typically only come out when I need daylight at night to work on the car of big group meals or events... completely agree, they are too much...

I'm a huge fan of the See Devil balloon light when needed but if a genny doesn't work for you this sounds like a solid alternative. Good reviews and looks like they sell the 800 on Amazon which I just added to my cart...

I think I mentioned before... I don't even unload my cars for that weekend... just camp away from the 2 mile wide dust cloud and drive the truck to the compound and work a booth. It's not a fun weekend for duning, that is for sure

I ran stock bighorns on a 2018 X3 Max for two full seasons. They are a on the softer side of the dirt tires and are on beadlocks. I kept them ~8-10PSI in the dry stuff.... wet sand I'd keep it around 12PSI. Only issue I had was losing an inside bead once from sliding.

Talked with Landen from DRT and he said about the same as far as the clientele this year and parts on hand... offered to drop ship for free by Tuesday and people weren't interested in that.

Spent the weekend at the SSSS surrounded by good people. Bummed I missed some folks stopping by and thoroughly wiped out but had a great time and looking forward to some opportunities and a killer season ahead.
