    Which CV grease to use?

Just a good ole rehash of a 3 year old thread to argue about grease. LETS FIGHT. I say wheel bearing grease from autozone works just fine

    Weekend Warrior Fifth Wheel Remodel

Forgot to take many photos of this past weekends progress. Roof is finished, Interior is just about wrapped up, and now I'm onto the exterior. Installed the new faucets, caulked all cabinets and trim, went back and sanded/repainted any drips or small blemishes, painted the trim, and installed...

    Weekend Warrior Fifth Wheel Remodel

Was able to get quite a bit done this weekend. Welded in 2" L bracket to the added outriggers the entire length of the wheel well (8 feet) and added more outriggers to prop it up. This supports the entire wheel well and adds structure for the wall. It's rock solid now. Painted it all with...

    100” wide toy haulers?

Took a look at the Iroks at the sand show. They said they had a 36' (don't quote me) that had a 17' garage, but I don't know the door width. The composite walls were a nice touch. No lumber, just composite and aluminum. Looked pretty well built

    SSSS 2024 thread

That's why I put "new" in quotes. Mattox technically isn't "new" either. I more so mean new to the full size car/sand car platform. In an industry that is seeing more car builders switch to SxS, it's cool to see a guy go the other way. Even though he was building cars awhile back

    Weekend Warrior Fifth Wheel Remodel

Couple updates. Knocked out the wheel well delete and wall sag preventative gussets in the wheel wells. Still need to run a few more tubes, but it's way stiffer now. Cut out the old plastic wheel wells and left the lip to cover the sub floor: Jacked the trailer up and put it on jacks for 24...

    SSSS 2024 thread

Walked it Friday with @Reece Pettersen. Chatted with quite a few people. Bought some new Sparcos for my car. Drank many cold beers. The highlight of the show was Morgan Clark's Dakar. The best part of the show was the new builders. AZP Concepts and Mattox had two very nice cars. Quality builds...

    RV Fiberglass Repair

Yea I didn't want to access my policy on this one since my premium is so good at the moment and I had all the materials to fix it myself. Few days of sanding was worth it

    RV Fiberglass Repair

Thought I'd share some photos of this repair I just knocked out. I just recently moved into a new storage yard near my house and it's a tight squeeze. The first day moving in, the space the front desk gave me was technically 2 spaces, but was just large enough for 1. Luckily they guy who was...

    2024 Sand Sports Super Show

At least going once, maybe twice, drinking at least 3 criminally expensive beers (probably more), and convincing @Reece Pettersen to buy 4 alumicrafts

Desert Dynamic Chassis and the different styles

Loved my DD. If I didn't blow up the damn 2D every season I would've probably kept it. That car worked well. Wish the build thread didn't get deleted awhile back Early on the build: When I first finished it The first makeover: And the second full makeover:

    Buying and selling

The recession isn't coming, it's been here all year. I have my hands in the day to day of several CPG companies that focus on retail, DTC, and third party Ecom. All different products as well. This year has been a steep downhill decline month over month for all. And we can very specifically see...

    Weekend Warrior Fifth Wheel Remodel

Got the majority of the floor laid over the weekend. Went with sheet vinyl. In hindsight I would have gone LVP if I did it again. The sheet isn't quite thick enough to cover up floor blemishes beneath, and even if I put a sponge pad below it, it wouldn't be perfect. But it does look great and...

    Weekend Warrior Fifth Wheel Remodel

Bought this 03 SLC 3505 from a family friend recently. I got a great deal on it, only catch was I had to drive up to Coos Bay Oregon to pick it up. So did 42 hours of seat time and 2100 miles with a buddy and went and snagged it. He bought it off of another family friend who custom ordered it...
