Someone is having a bad day at vendors

Biggest issue setting them on fire is overcharging. Never charge them unattended. Second biggest issue is physical damage.

Camber angle on front of sand rail?

Could also be toe in for the rear. A little is good for stability. A lot makes it not want to turn in

California homeowners will have to fund half of high-risk insurer’s $1 billion ‘bailout’.. Yes, you.....

Nothing fair about the FAIR plan. It's a terribly run state insurance. Why does it need a $1B bailout...? Average cost is $3200/year. Multiply that by the number of subscribers (451,000), we get to almost $1.5B in annual revenue. This fire is the most costly on record, and estimates put...

Camber angle on front of sand rail?

More caster is more stability in bumps and at speed, tradeoff being increased steering effort. 6* would be the minimum for a buggy. Camber? Depends on the curve built in. Some cars, like Funco, are built with more camber gain than others. 2* is probably plenty, but make sure to re-set toe...

What's your opinion/take on the efforts of DOGE?

I like how it's going so far for DOGE and auditing/shutting down waste. I do know a number of military civilians that are being told to come back to the office, but they're: 1. Remote traveling employees who aren't assigned a home office because they're usually just on the road. 2. Employees...

As a parent do you ever lose the anxiety for your kids?

Sometimes, you just have to trust the job you did as a parent.... Which is what my dad tells me anyway. Mine are 16/14, so the worrying has really only just begun. LOL

Football, Troy Aikman Called Out Patrick Mahomes And NFL Refs

Was just talking to a coworker about Mahomes: no fucking way he would've lasted prior to these rule changes to protect the QB at all costs. The result is NFL GMs can now draft the smaller more mobile types who then get injured more easily. It makes for this spread offense and replaced the need...

    Can Am wins KOH?

Why didn’t the radius rods hold him back? I was told they cause rollovers if you look at them funny. :ROFLMAO: Impressive for a single shock car with mostly stock drivetrain on 37s. 30 minute lead on P2.

Any way you can exchange? Doesn’t seem worth all the effort unless you have unusually tall tabs on the chassis (allowing you to quickly cut them off and replace with shorter).

State Farm, pleads with department of insurance for Calif rate hike

Yeah, I'm not saying it's bad. I'm saying it's not amazing. If I'm operating at 10% profit, I'm behind the 8-ball. Either way, I'm not sure where your 10% numbers came from. https://www.insurancebusinessmag.com/us/news/breaking-news/state-farm-reports-monster-loss-for-2023-479471.aspx...

State Farm, pleads with department of insurance for Calif rate hike

10% profit margin isn't exactly raking it in... Insurance companies aren't gambling. The second they feel like it's gambling, they back out. Risk aversion is their mindset through and through.

USA to take over the Gaza Strip

One could argue that the civilians who work there in the oversight department also get subsidies from the government. And it's also obvious, based on the findings coming out, that questionable use of taxpayer money, and maybe outright FWA has been a major issue there.
