Kinda hard to see the strap but the crackhead in the Mercedes was towing the RV.    Guess the city? I’ll give you a hint, it rhymes with “del cajon”

Rebuilt the AC in the truck today. New compressor, accumulator, and condenser. Guess this explains why it wasn’t working that great, not sure what that sawdust looking stuff is but I’m presuming a seal or something plastic from inside the compressor that broke and got pulverized.   

My dad has a 1996 Holiday Rambler with a 5.9 Cummins. He recently got a letter from the state stating that he now needs to get his moto home smog checked as it’s over 14,000lb gvwr.    Anyone else run into this? Any workarounds? He hasn’t been able to get ahold of the state to find out what is...

Had a family day at my parents. Drove almost everything there was to drive with my son, tractors, lawn mower, and his 70, he was loving it.  Got to test fire my newly assembled 6.5 Grendel budget hunting build.   

Flew to Texas with a my brother and a buddy to meet another buddy that lives there. Went hunting but got skunked. Now sitting in the airport waiting to see if storms are going to cancel our flight.

Finally making some good progress on the 70 I got from @Poule43 Some stuff like the tank was in such good original shape I decided to keep it as is instead of repainting. A bunch of polishing and some wax it’s looking pretty nice.  Still waiting on some odds and ends, and still need to paint...
