99-07 Super Duty Grant leather steering wheel

Did this a little while ago but never got around to posting it.    My 05 f250 came with the wonderful hard rubber steering wheel, it was worn down smooth as glass, and cold as heck in the winter.    After unsuccessfully checking EBay for a decent stock leather wheel, I came across the Grant...

Happy Father’s Day. What did you get?

Yesterday I got the gift of being a dad. Today is my first Father’s Day.    He’ll be out shredding dunes sooner than a Speed utv! Sorry, I had to 🤣

Looking for a set of high back suspension seats, Beard, PRP, Mastercraft. Standard width, black, good condition.  Bonus if you happen to have a matching rear bench, 3" shorter front to back, 52" wide with 46" wide mounts. Near San Diego would be ideal.  Thanks

In the middle of our master bath remodel. Removed the old tiny corner shower and jacuzzi tub, rebuilding the shower into the space the tub used to be. The former shower corner will give room for wife’s vanity.    Shower plumbing done minus drain, drywall up where the old shower was. Next...

    Gen 2 bushings

The a arm bushings on my gen2 are pretty hammered, and I’m sure the bag perch bushings are too. As you all know they are not common size.    @Grant@Funco are you guys able to make a set, or do you happen to have the specs tucked away somewhere? If not, Is there anyone near San Diego that...

Single stack or double stack. Whats your 1911 preference

If I could only have one it would be a single stack, they have the classic look and great feel in the hand. The double stacks are a little chunky and weird feeling to me, though I wouldn't kick one out of the safe if I had one! Dare I say though, the only 1911 and the only .45 in the safe is my...

    250r overheating

I’m afraid you’re probably right.   The small intake side coolant holes of the head gasket were definitely partly occluded by RTV.  Took the cylinder off to check for rod bearing play. Seems like there’s a little in the big end. More evidence of porting, no marking or signature so who knows...

    250r overheating

Sprayed carb cleaner around the intake, carb, cylinder base and head with no change. Popped the head and reeds off. Holy RTV. No obvious signs of head gasket failure but someone was really sloppy when they were in there last.  Intake was quite wet, as were the reeds   Some light scoring on...

    250r overheating

Picked up an 85 ATC250r couple months back. Been running 32:1 Super Techniplate or Castor 927 with premium gas. Stock intake and carb, UNI filter, Dg pipe, FMF silencer, Stock bore, Boyeson 2 stage power reeds.  Took it out last trip with no significant issues. Seemed like it was loading up and...
