    Resurrection of a K10 - need help!

One thing I learned building a 1984 C10 that I try to share with people - Painless has a PDF installation manual / file that come with their wiring kits, but what's helpful is those files can also be used to troubleshoot existing / old wiring as the new kits are the same colors as factory. The...

It's Saturday April 26th 2025.. What is everyone doing this weekend?

Fixing horse stalls - removed the tops 4 inches and put DG back in. My brother is a wizard operator if anyone needs some side work done in San Diego...It's amazing what someone with skills can get done a day.

    What business would you start?

Had the dent dude in San Diego come perform a paintless dent repair on my truck a few days ago - seems like a challenging yet rewarding trade if you're good at it. He had a huge set of tools, lights, etc.

2005 Alumi Craft Dash - Owner / Mounting Info?

ya, it looks to be lower than what I've seen on other cars. Here's pic on the project car...im trying to get info to help the fab guys as this was one of the items we were not sure how it is going to be done. Balance of looking good, angle of dash, but at the same time not too low / too close...

AZ VIN Sticker Removed During Sand Blasting

Anyone go through this before? What are the options here? I have a picture of the VIN as they warned me it might get blasted off. I'm not too worried about it but wondering if there's any easy way to get a replacement...car is now CA titled, so I'd imagine that might complicate things...Seems...

2005 Alumi Craft Dash - Owner / Mounting Info?

Anyone know who owns this car? I have the same dash that I plan to put on a rebuild, and am curious how the steering shaft is mounted to the frame. Hoping the owner has a pic of the frame without the dash on.

    Oil Extractor Pump Recommendation

happy with this one - had it for 5 or 6 years now. Hand pump or hook up to air to get it going. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WD64H8Z?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_44&th=1

Old School 2 Seat Alumicraft Rebuild

Yes, for the option that's shorter / the side-by-side shock - but the shaft length would remain the same, so I'm not sure what I'd gain there. The longer shock, the offroad version, appears to have the shortest available eyelet on the bottom, but maybe not? Would be cool it there's a shorter /...

Old School 2 Seat Alumicraft Rebuild

p.s - option 2 has the rebound adjustment built into the shock, option 1 does not.

Old School 2 Seat Alumicraft Rebuild

This is where I'm a bit grey... Current shock is a total of 35 inches with a 14-inch shaft...but in my view: Two options: Option 1 - longer shock, same length shaft (37.6 14 inch total. 14 inch shaft) assuming i suck of the trailing arm a bit for angle (2 inches) - and given the pivot point...

Old School 2 Seat Alumicraft Rebuild

All lengths noted are eye to eye...for the 2nd car there isn't a side-by-side shock that looks to be a good match for the rears...either way too long, or I'd go from a 35 inch 14 inch shaft, to a 34.4 with only a 12.15 shaft...i'm leaning towards the offroad IBS - see options 1 and 2 for the 2nd...

Old School 2 Seat Alumicraft Rebuild

Still waiting on a fab date, but I'd expect it to be in the next month or two. Adding the front shock info here - good info. . I ordered the same shocks from my current car, Fox IBS that were made for the fronts of a Honda Talon. 26.54 (eye to eye) and a 9.7 shaft...the offroad IBS shocks in...
