I would not convert the car to mid engine. I would run a N/A k24 engine and a mendeola 2d. Keep the weight off the back of the car and it will work much better than a mid-engine.

Yeah, bunch of different options. I was wondering if anyone figured out which one works with the chevy/albins bell housing and LS.

Has anyone found off the self dust covers for an LS/Albins combo that covers the exposed flywheel or flexplate? Mine is currently open and would like to seal it off. Figured I would check before sending it to an aluminum guy to custom make.

With a big block you need an Albins or the new fortin. I would run a torque converter if I was you.

1/8" toe in at ride height is standard for most race cars. Have you determined how much bump steer your Funco has? I would set it so you are in the middle of it at ride height.

I think if you get to 375 then you have a problem, but There should be zero grease in the boot. Grease in the boot will cause the boot to fall off or tear. I suggest watching the following video for a good tutorial.

I wouldn't expect a CV to ever reach those temperatures. Maybe @parker@gearone has some insight on Cv temps. I like the viscosity of the 103 is better than the 101, so if temp isn't an issue I might try it.

Looking for x2 17" loading tires and wheels. Unfortunately 15" will not fit unless they have no backspacing due to my 14" rotors and calipers.

Turn up the speakers to hear an example of the no-lift upshift shift setup on my car. This utilizes an integral load cell knob with motec, billet convertor, and 6 speed Albins tuned by Danzio. The feeling and sound of the shift is exhilarating.
