    Amazon Generator deal

Won't ship to Ca. Smokin deal though just at a glance, I would think this is a throwaway genny.

Yamaha E bike sale......... More than 50% off MSRP plus second batt.

That's a crazy deal on the Specialized for $3500. My mind justified the big sale because Yamaha doesn't have a big bicycle presence here in the USA but Specialized = apple pie. I bought a 2021 Trek Slash for full pop so I know what you mean about the sales price hurting.

Yamaha E bike sale......... More than 50% off MSRP plus second batt.

I looked at the turbo levo and there is a model that looks to be similarly specc'd to the yamaha for $5500. The turbo levo alloy. Slightly bigger battery and slightly less travel. Both have rockshox 35mm forks and select shocks, 1X12 drive, good brakes, etc. The Specialized is twice the price...

Yamaha E bike sale......... More than 50% off MSRP plus second batt.

I don't know. I don't need another mountain bike but the deal was too good to pass up so I gambled. I have a confirmation email receipt from yamaha and my card has been charged. No other emails or messages yet. I keep waiting for the gotcha. I keep looking for it. I can't find it. I used my...

Yamaha E bike sale......... More than 50% off MSRP plus second batt.

I've just ordered a Moro 7 full suspension mountain bike. The deal is so good I'm still trying to figure out what the catch is. While not a mainstream bicycle manufacturer here, Yamaha have been building bicycles for the Japanese market and came out with the first electric bicycle drivetrain in...

    Battery powered lawn care equipment???

I tried the black and decker lead acid mower. Batts lasted 3 years. Punted it and bought a honda gas mower. I loved my makita string trimmer though. If I were to try battery today, I would look at makita. Seems to be the most serious about building a quality tool.

East Coast shipping ports shutting down in a few hours

If I ran the company, I would pay as little as possible to get the result necessary. That is the job of the CEO and their management levels. I would pay the same for raw material or production supplies. As little as possible to get the result I wanted. And then I would collect my $15,000,000...

East Coast shipping ports shutting down in a few hours

What were the CEO bonus's of some of the fortune 500 companies that use that port? What is their (Longshoremen) current wage? What has the raise schedule been in the last 5 years? What has the cost of living gone up by? What is the demand for their labor?

East Coast shipping ports shutting down in a few hours

I'll play devils' advocate here. You are witnessing one of the few and possibly one of the last uses of leverage that laborers have left. The stock market is crazy high no matter where you look. Record profits at many big companies. Eff you money is everywhere but very little makes its way down...

    What's it worth? Custom chopper

Unless the frame is a well known builder, I would think parting it out would yield the biggest payoff. The tank looks rough. Wheels are dated, pipes are stock maybe? Welds aren't horrible but for a custom, not great. And that motor is a big question mark.

    Skat Trak

Skat Trak been an institution in the sand hobby for way longer than I have been in it. My cousin used to go to clean genes in the eighties to rent skat trak haulers for his home made atc 500. In this world of get it now and get it cheap, it's extremely hard for an American made product to...

    MIT for the win!

I know without a shadow of a doubt how widespread it is and how powerful the movement is. I have no interest in spending the time and effort fighting the good fight. I don't see any payoff nor do I see it doing any good. If you figure out a way to make some headway, spread the word.

    MIT for the win!

I don't know the full story. I work for a very large corporation you've definitely heard of. I know there are several DEI "scores" that are touted in advertising but I don't know if those scores open up the company to special funding or tax credits. They can't just be for advertising purposes...

Sand rail or SXS or dual sport?

A sxs is the best bang for the buck currently. My old bones are moving, slowly, toward one and away from my beloved two wheelers. Rails, both dual sport and sand have their place but with so many one off parts, poor transmission choices, and difficulty buying new ones, it takes the right buyer...
