Looks - the stock regulator is ugly...I plan to get it running with the OEM setup, then switch it out eventually. Plus, it's location it not ideal being it's a mid-engine. By moving the regulator, I can simplify and clean up the fuel lines.

+1 on the LS swap - I did this on an 84 C10, but if you are planning to go this route do some research on motor and or trans mounts for the C30...I've seen them for C10, C20's - but not the "G"30. I have a 6.5 in a 97 Tahoe - thing is slow as shit, I can't wait to LS swap it someday. I get...

If I want to get rid of the stock fuel pressure regulator, and NOT buy aftermarket fuel rails - converting this fuel line to a 6AN seems to be the best option. What have others done? I could just cut this line and have a push on to female or male 6AN? Or?

Yes...also, my wife's first comment, was wow, these are super easy to adjust.

The newer style crow adjuster are great on the right, super easy (have them on my car)... - way better than the old school one circled on the left.
