Bearings are bad. I've seen this on 3 other cars in the past year. Once Parker replaced bearings and rebuilt, as good as new.

Not when you clean the boot out and remove the grease. I have been adding grease every other trip for years and no boot issues. But thanks for answering my original question.

@acefuture and @Reece Pettersen do you guys add grease during those miles you stated? I put 1000-1200 duning miles on a season, but I add grease every other trip and I run Parker's CV savers. Curious to know if you guys add or are your results from just running and not doing anything?

John, all LS motors have motor mounts in the same location.

My season isn't over yet. Hopefully 1 more trip and then Idaho. After that: Install/plumb tranny pump. Have custom bypass shocks made to use 2.5" bodies with 3" tubes and figure placement. Install my new JetTrim seats.

My car physically looks pretty much the same, but has had lots of changes. Stock LS1 to Supercharged LS3. 2D to a Fortin to a S4. Stock GM computer to full Holley system. 3 tube bypass to 4 tube. Fully boxed rear arms. Combo spindle to 2" Hollows. Bigger front arm.

I agree with Jtmoney. Both of my boosted motors have been built at 10:1 compression. On purpose since I knew I wasn’t going to run crazy boost. That being said. That bore size will be fine. I would for sure get the MLX gaskets.

Buddy just went through an issue. Had a blown head gasket from the engine builder. After doing some research into what the motor was built with and what is preferred with boost, he went with Cometic, 5 layer gasket. The gaskets that the motor came with were only 3 layer. Also, make sure you...
