I have had 4 buggy's, I use the turning brake every ride. I have never broken a gear or spider gears in any tranny. We are talking over 500 days (roughly 15,000 miles) of duning.

If you have Outboards, you should be replacing them every 7-10 years, they do fatigue. A lot of carnage you see in the dunes are buggy's 20 years old and breaking their outboards, cheap insurance to replace.

I am thinking the same thing, change out the bench seat and get two bucket seats, then have a tank built that would go between the seats to floorboard over shift shaft, should be able to add 4 gallons easily. Anyone want to trade a bench seat for two buckets, haha
